Amazing! I just realized that I love God with all my mind and sometimes volitionally but it really occurred that the emotionally part was missing! Then God brought to mind this: "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, strength and with all your mind”. All 3 need to take place. It aligned with his sermon to love God emotionally, intellectually and volitionally. It’s exactly the 3 asks of us. I ask you God to open my heart to know you in more personal and emotional way. Help me see the cross this way.

There are as many religions as there are people.Faith beyond the self is trust in a person we have this trusting relationship with.Fortunately we get to know the Father through the Son to whom we can even have an intimate relation.
