So you choose a life partner based on looks and a conversation with her father? Yes you are on your best behaviour when you date someone but you can also find out if you have things in common, see if you are maybe compatible, see if your morals align ect.

this is over-simplified....there's no instruction as to HOW u actually get to know if u even wanna marry a specific person if you've never spoken. if talking is haram, so that means u can't even ask their name let alone take their number, so how exactly are u supposed to go to their parents? maybe that person isn't even interested in u....there's like a whole chunk missing from the beginning of the process.

This video was talking about a specific detail about a specific topic. What your getting at Is a different story. Over simplified? Oh it definitely is not. But its because we live in the era. Yes, it is now over simplified. Talking to another women or girl isn't haram. But if it's about developing a friendship or anything romantic. Then yea it can lead to haram. So it's more as if heavily disrecommended. Also with the entirety of the westernisation reaching Arab countries. Its hard for now a days for our daughters and sisters to even think as in "you want to marry me? Talk to my father". You'll only find those in there own countries. Example: Jordanians in jordan or Kuwaitis in Kuwait. This is also something I've noticed. The less an arab country is technologically advanced. The more their mindset is as the video says. And with higher iman. Due to less westernisation reaching them.

@@Quthology i dunno where u live man but, i've found & heard from other arabs brought up in the west who go back home, that muslims in arab coutnries hardly even pray (younger generations). as a british ex-pat in palestine i see it myself & trust me, even in the villages the teenage boys all have smartphones looking at & sharing porn, it's really sick! but coz im here without family so it's extremely difficult for me to even entertain the idea of being introduced to eligible men, it's hard enough even making friends so i don't have those connections....plus, i've found that apparently coz i didn't grow up here & i don't wear a hijab so im not marriage material. however most of the hijabis here have full make up & nails done so obviously they dont pray, but that's all ok, they have a cloth on their head so that makes them good

@@EspritArkitekt @Esprit Arkitekt エスプリアーキテクト I see, may Allah bless you with a good man. What I meant is that the people that have a good sense of faith in Islam now a days. Are people who live in their own land from arabs. But still regardless its hard. Where I live currently this doesn't apply as much as I've seen before. But it does apply. But yea it's basically as you've said. That's the condition of most Muslim kids or even adults now a days. I remember there are a verse but I forgot what it said in specific. All I remember is that it meant "god will bless you in ways you may never expect". I mean you still have the chance to wear a hijab. If there are any decorative features to u it you can either remove it yourself. I'm grade 12th my self. My dad is constantly trying to get me into university in Canada. Most people now a days find jt a blessing or whatever. In some shape or form it is, but I heavily would rather not. I dont wanna see those peoples ideals and non existing morale. But that aside, you just continue doing your job and Allah will bless you inshallah

Not quite. Usually from the male side. They said they their friend, relatives or family they want to get married so they recommend or help them find someone. In a way, yea its kinda blind marriage. But once u do, u just talk it put with the father. Which does take a decent period of time. You'll get to know the women as in her life goals. And what she would want to achieve off a marriage in general. And if they're thoughts and morals are identical or agreed on. They can go on with a marriage. Some of the sides may demand some certain things. As such no smoking. But now a days this is hard to approach but still a thing. This way of marriage developes actual love over time.
