a track prepped thousand is a lot of bike and takes a good amount of time to get comfortable pushing it. there comes a point were you'll want more power, which is kind of insane. the bike looks great and I hope you enjoy ripping it around the track

Thanks! Yes, the Yoshi system does have wheelie control, but its not the best. Better just to stamp on the back brake to control the wheelie and would be easier I'm sure with a thumb brake set up. Thanks, Aaron KNOX

This is amazing! Your first set of tyres look like they suffered a cold tear? I could be wrong, but the wear looked more like a tyre pressure issue than a problem with the tyres themselves, I suppose. Would love to hear about your experience with getting the trick suspension dialled in by a pro :)

Thanks a lot. Re the Pirellis, they are the control BSB Superstock spec tyre and designed to last one race really. Re pressures, I worked with the tyre technician there who is Pirelli trained and followed his advise, but still had the issues. I think if I was on Supercorsa;s again, Id go for a much harder rear, like an SC2 or SC3. Thanks, Aaron KNOX

@SNS Racing nice one, awesome kit. What i will say is its definitely worth using somone who really knows what theyre doing set up wise. I believe the set up on this bike is using a longer fork and shock length for more ground clearance which made a massive difference. 😀

@SNS Racing sorry no dont know anyone in usa. But as the gsxr1000 is v popular race bike, it shouldn't be too difficult to find somone. Personally id find a technician who looks after racers at a good level on gsxr1000 l7 + and then get them to supply/set it up for you. For example, the guy we use looks after some v good racers in the same bike so theyve devloped a good understanding of what works the best on that model, plus gearing and tyres etc. 😀
