Latrell blew his bag majorly. Wonder if he wants to talk about it publicly. I saw a GoFundMe where he and his family were asking for $50K for some medical procedure for his granddaughter. I’m like “Damn homie”. Crazy considering he made millions and has ex-teammates who probably still have lots of money like KG. I remember Spree had a successful car rim business for a minute too.

@@ninocrown3247 the part about him living on the water is real. When I was a kid he signed a business card that my aunt had in her car. He was chopped haha. He was happy to sign for me. Spree had a GS decorated jet ski. Then I grew up to play against his cousin in HS.

That season was such a blast, every game was fun to watch, literally every game KG was just goin off. It's been awesome to get a little of that feeling back after last season finally!

i was lucky enough to be at fsu when sam was there the student seats were almost court side and he was and is one of the smartest players i have ever seen..he was always one move ahead in his mind on the court...and he saw the entire court...it was amazing to watch..the only other player i saw in person in college like that was john elway when he came back against the buckeyes in columbus back in the day...he also seeemed to know what was going to happen before it happened...

@@alvinrichmond305 you know the crazy thing about that was Sam Cassell started at point guard in the beginning of the season because Charlie Ward wasn't ready to start right after football season. When Charlie Ward came back and was ready to play they started Charlie Ward at point guard. And I always thought and still think that the team was better with Sam Cassell at point guard.

@@bradelliot1027 I remember that and you're right, they would have been better with Sam at PG, but Sam could shoot so much better than Charlie. Sam's mid-range game was crazy. I thought it was crazy he fell to the Rockets.

It read as Cassell feels that KG was his BEST TEAMMATE... Sam wasn't saying KG was the best player he played with.... he was the "best teammate".... totally different.

It was a blessing to get to watch that wolves team many times. I ran into Spree in his new Maybach( only one in MN and few in the country at the time) in the dead of winter, it had snowed the night before and he still had his big 22 or 24inch Lowenhart rims on it lol. Sam has a pretty good KG impression he should work on it lol! Love yall

That might have been a bad recommendation for Spree. That contract dispute with Minnesota resulted in him a stalemate that ended his career.

Yeah but to me both sides were tripping on that one. Minnesota could've gone up on their offer but Sprewell acting like 7M/ yr (granted a pay cut) couldn't feed his family was crazy.

KG is my favorite player ever but KG is to Lebron as Duncan is to MJ in the GOAT PF/GOAT NBA debate. MJ/Duncan might not be as great all-around, but will be the ones will gets the shots in the last minute. Lebron/KG will do everything and may take some of the last minute shots, but aren't as clutch.

@@wisedyer2133KG is an all time great, but Dream was the superior player… Dream was automatic short range, left and right jump hook, take dudes off the dribble and his dream shake was unstoppable… KG never had a signature move… and let’s not even talk about defense

He said best teammate, but the best player he’s played with. Hakeem was a Nigerian dude and probably was all business with his teammates. Sam and KG both Black American dudes from the hood. He said KG went out of his way to motivate and try to make sure you’d succeed.
