I know you did this many months ago, but I just found it today. Your analysis was excellent. I enjoyed you enjoying his art. One of the things in the song that seems to always be overlooked is when he speaks about letting his burdens go. They are helium balloons and he knows he could just let them float away.Yet they are weighing on him every day. Helium balloons weigh nothing. It's such an ironic end beautiful metaphor. I always am wondering why no one speaks about it. Maybe because it's so obvious and I am just simple. But it's the chorus of the song and it punched me right in the throat from the very first time I heard it. Thanks for your connection to it. And especially the way you broke it down. It actually helped me. 👍🏼

Of course we're afraid to l let go of our burdens. Usually we've carried them around a long time. Without them we feel naked and exposed, in a new world to navigate without them can be terrifying.. plus without that burden we're gonna have to deal head on that burden. And without it who are we? The unknown is terrifying.

Good analysis as always! If people really listen to what's being sung, the messages there should be very relatable to a lot of people struggling with various mental health issues. There are also a LOT of lyrics because of the style of the song, but they all add a lot to the song rather than a lot of repetition! Overall I honestly wasn't a big fan of the actual music (not my type really), but really liked the lyricism.

I like when people analyze songs from Christian artists. These songs are more rife with positivity and meaning and higher learning. That’s why I like Christian music, because it’s about more than just sex drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll. More Christian song analysis, please. There are plenty of Christian artists that go unrecognized. For symbolism, try ‘Big Bad Wolf’ and ‘Bring The Heat’ by Disciple. Also, ‘Psychedelic Super Jesus’ by Bride. I think you’ll find these fun to react to the studio album versions, and bring up the lyrics.

Nice reaction. Dont be sorry for the reaction length. Us Outcasts love new perspectives on NF. The people in white have found hope but still have burdens, just less. The black smile NF paints on because people have been saying he should smile more. You pretty much got it by saying 'putting on a brave face'. As NF is a Christian we are taught to leave our burdens with God. So the hand at the end represents God. But NF looks back at the others, perhaps he doesn't want to be judge by others. Well done.

NF has plenty of singing songs. If he isn't singing the whole song. He will sing the intro or the chorus with his voice pitched high. Usually 2 to 3 songs per album singing.

First off I don’t think you started the journey from the beginning. Second some of the lyrics you’ve been reading aren’t quite correct. Finally, yes there’s a lot of symbolism in his videos but don’t make the mistake of over evaluating while missing the bigger picture
@KoalityReactions Жыл бұрын
I didn’t start from the beginning, no. I can’t react to all his videos on KZbin because I have other people to listen to as well! And I’m not sure what the bigger picture is yet… that’s part of the fun. Hopefully it becomes clear through listening! ☺️ For now I take every video as they come. As for the lyrics - whoops! It was the first result that came up, so I do what I can. I haven’t heard the song before listening, so hard to know which lyrics are 100% correct. 🤷🏻♀️😬
