One of the best performance ever especially with the fact that this was a 50+ point game streak. This performance was one of the many reasons why he's top 5, but still get hate cuz of his shooting %. Sad how people crucified this many just cuz he's not as efficient as other players are SMH.

This version of Kobe; aka peak Kobe, is the only player that can parallel prime Jordan scoring abilities. Jordan was more efficient, but the range of Kobe was superior.

Ballin Too except when it comes to playoff performances that is. Jordan scored 50 or more in the playoffs more times than Kobe scored 40 or more and Kobe's highest playoff average in his career was 32.08 in 2007 putting him at 33rd all time on the list of highest per game playoff average.

The reason that this guy isn't the GOAT for many people is that they just look at stats because they don't have ''time'' to look what someone has accomplished in his career and most importantly how he did it...This guy had 20+ injuries and he is the real GOAT for me and for many others also because some other people don't just look someone's MVP'S which is something that media votes and everybody knows (i guess) that media just hates Kobe because he ''pushed'' Shaq from Lakers and after rape case nobody wanted him to be the ''face'' of the NBA and not to mention that Kobe said for ESPN that ''they are bunch of idiots'' so i guess yeah they will just hate.. Stabilizin Well Kobe was a better defender and scorer, so I don't see how. He went to the finals 7 times in 10 years in a MUCH tougher conference. Made an all defensive team 12 times. Kobe was as dominant as they come.

There's no doubt that Mike is the greatest but there's a clear argument that Kobe is right there along with Mike considering the players he had to carry after the Shaq era. Jordan always had Pippen along with a good bench during the bulls run but Kobe had below average teammates and still dominated the league by storm. His work ethic was insane and legendary. His skill set was beyond Jordans in my opinion just look at film. Kobe is my favorite and is undoubtedly top 5 all time. Players like LeBron, harden, durant and many others are great but their skill set and work ethic is nowhere near Jordans or kobes. Plus today's league is way too soft.
