Man kinda have chills coming back to this video randomly all these years later…idk if anyone will see this, but at least for myself, Kobe represents this consistent throughline in my life (born in 97, he came in the league 96-97 season). He was my muse and his words helped me through some tough times, I’m so happy to have been all these years. Thanks eternally Kobe, and rest peacefully. ❤️🥀

I cried when he made his retirement speech and released his retirement poem. This was the nail in the coffin when he lost joy for basketball & wanted to live a happy life being a dad. All them injuries he had late, he knew it was over. His body couldn’t take it anymore, all them years of sacrifice he put his body thru just show he can put on a show for the fans and becoming THE GREATEST BASKETBALL PLAYER OF ALL TIME. Nobody can’t tell me differently about this man.
