Seriously. Come on man. You didn't even know the dude. Wanna talk about actually not getting over something? I buried my daughter and only child 6yrs,9 months, and 8 days ago. I've never gotten over THAT. The biggest event in my entire life. The last 6.75 yrs have been the hardest 'almost 7 years' of my entire life. 😥😭 That doesn't even address the fact that I've got a total of 3 videos of her. Three. And plenty of pictures. But only 3 vids because her mother & I were split up and she did everything she could to keep my daughter from me. So I rarely saw her at times. And it never crossed my mind that I'd possibly only get 2 years with her before she was taken from us. I thought I had time... I thought there were still years to catch up. And in a flash, it was all taken away. 😭 All, because somebody couldn't put their fkn phone down and drive. Her mother thought texting was more important than the lives in her vehicle. And she caused the death of our child because of it.

Kinda crazy how much young talent the Lakers let go en route back to title contention. Randle, D'Lo, Jordan Clarkson, Lonzo, Ingram. As a Lakers fan I'm happy for all those dudes that are doing well with their new teams. It's tough to develop in LA. Though that kind of makes what Kobe did even more impressive. RIP King.

It's also kind crazy how much incompetent talent they signed to suck those years. It’s been over 2 years since Kobe’s passing and it’s still hard for me to watch videos with or about him. He was/is the sole reason I started loving basketball. Mind you I was born in 2000 in Ohio and didn’t start watching basketball until 2008 all because of Kobe. For some reason I was drawn to Kobe over Lebron (if you aren’t from Ohio you might not understand how big of a deal that it) I guess I could just see the passion every time he played and I was glued to watching him. Ever since then I’ve been a lakers fans and Kobe has always been my favorite player. I remember exactly where I was when I saw that tmz article 5 minutes after it was posted on Twitter… of course I didn’t believe it at first it was tmz… but when it was confirmed all I could think about was how the night before he was watching Lebron pass him in scoring in a laker jersey with Gigi right next to him. My day was ruined my idol. The reason I love this sport. Just gone. It felt as if I lost a part of me. I have always been passionate about things I do/want to do with my life and I attribute that to watching Kobe play and listening to him talk about the game. I wanted to be like him in any aspect of life. Eventually I realized that he wouldn’t mope around, he would get up and keep pushing for his goals and dreams and that’s what I had to do. It took me awhile because man I know I never knew the guy but part of me left with him and I don’t know if I’ll ever get that part back. I love this sport and it’s because of Kobe. I wanted to be like him. I still want to be like him. And for that I thank you Kobe. Rest In Peace to the greatest Laker of all time

I’ll never forget a January 2006 game when the Lakers played the Raptors, Kobe and Kwame tore the house down, combining for 84 points !!! Kobe with 81, and Kwame coming in clutch with a solid 3 points
