That clearly wasn’t just about having a motorcycle. Kody is dangling this in front of Gabe’s face and keeping it above his head until ultimately he agrees with him like the sister. Kody knows how bad he wants the motorcycle-Gabe is being forced to move somewhere he doesn’t want to go and when he starts to show some lightheartedness about the move, Kody jokes about him not getting a motorcycle. Their united confusion about his behaviour is surprising. Using the language “little things” and “ballistic” to describe Gabe’s behaviour is actually quite dismissive and I won’t be surprised if this has a lasting consequence for their relationship

I love that lad and could hug him. He’s very much like my youngest and they’re the same age. He doesn’t want to move but says what people want to hear. But then his emotions and hormones get the better of him. He looks a bit older so has always been treated as, and expected to behave as ‘one of the older ones’ but he actually isn’t.
