If you guys ever come to Houston,TX than you should try Oh My Gogi food truck its about the same a Kogi but they have one of the best Mex/Korean fries. BRING LEIGH ALONG TOO!!!!

If you guys love this food truck, you guys should come to Austin, Texas! Its where I go to school. They're known to have a bunch of food trucks and most of them are fusions of different cultures! We even have some of Kor/Mex fusion trucks too :D

Recently found your channel and FELL IN LOVE. I have gone back little by little on your older videos since subscribing. I knew Kogi was from LA, which is where I live now, so I immediately clicked on this video. while watching I started thinking...hmm that strip mall behind them looks a LOT like the one across from Ralph's. Kimchi and cheese IS a marriage made in heaven! Kimchi grilled cheese and kimchi pizza are a really good way to slowly introduce your spice adverse friends to the glory of kimchi (unless they are lactose intolerant, 하하하!)

@@Mimiroo I’m lactose intolerant, too and I gladly eat kimchi grilled sandwiches. Nowadays they do sell lactose free cheeses. It’s not always easy to find but if you find it, it’s worth it.

Yeah, here in Korea, they have Vatos for the Korean Mexican fusion, as well as many more. But when I go home to Houston, I know there are several Korean-Mexican fusion trucks with kimchi fries too that I'll be sure to go on a hunt for. Looks amazing!

We've been thinking about doing this for a while now, but it's odd, because we do so many different things. Thursday we were out for a photo shoot all day. Yesterday we had a meeting than an interview, and then we edited videos. Wednesday we shot and edited videos. Every day of the week is quite different, you know?

Kogi Truck was voted one of the top 100 "restaurants" in LA so it definitely will meet anybody's expectation especially if they love Korean and Mexican food.

Californian's are so lucky :( I live near Chicago and can't get any Korean food unless I drive for an hour to the H-Mart in Naperville D:

If you're in the Chicago area, you shouldn't have to drive an hour to get Korean food unless your outside the metro area. There are Korean restaurants throughout the north suburbs.

I'm not in the Chicago area as in close by the city,( I'm 25 miles away from Navy Pier) I'm in the South Suburbs near Crete and U.P. We have Metra (as in we're at the near end of the line) but it takes me a good 30 min. to get to the nearest station, so it is a lot of time for me at least.

***** I actually used to live in Crete, which is further south of Chicago Heights and let me tell you, we actually have to go out of town to eat at restaurants. There is nothing over here. Nothing. At all. (besides Cal's Chicken but that's too expensive and Aurelio's which I don't care for.) But Oriental foods are scarcely found out here. I think the closest I've came to Japanese food in Crete is the Ramen I always have in my house lol

Since Korea owes its love of spice to chilis with Mexican origins, Korean-Mexican fusion is something to be stoked for, not scared of. BRING IT ON! BTW, there's this awesome store in Minneapolis that sells this legit house-made kimchi and ages it proper. You have take a gallon zip-top bag with you to seal the jar into, or it will stink up your whole car. I *LOVE* putting that stuff on a cheeseburger. The creamy richness of the cheese and the sour spice of the kimchi work so well together. Remember this when you can come to the #USNastyGreen region. #FoodieFusionWorld

We have a bulgolgi truck near were I live. It's bulgolgi (or kimchi for the vegetarians) in a taco with veggies and spicy sauce. It's really really good. They don't have as many choices as the truck you guys ate at, but they have bulgolgi/kimchi burritos or tacos.

I watched this before going to Kcon2014 last year and they had the Kogi truck at Kcon and I tried the kimchi quesadilla, BEST THING I HAVE EVER TASTED. Extremely messy, BUT SO TASTY!! Im getting ANOTHER!!
