LOL so funny story so I actually found Fell + Cole, but I was rather tipsy after a dinner of jeon and makgeoli (from the same place S&M showed us), and my friends and I were so blown away by all the flavors, we were kind of freaking out (read: being loud foreigners). The owner, Tristan, was there to explain it all, but I, drunkenly remembering this video, asked, "Omg you're Tristan, the owner right?" and I haven't been able to apologize for being tipsy and being a weird person for knowing his name when he didn't introduce himself 😅😅😂😂

I'm an Korean student who went to Canada in 2008. About the same time as Simon and Martina came to Korea. It means so much to me the topics they're covering, because they are talking about the things that I've missed in the 4 years I was out of Korea. They teach me things I haven't known much about Korea myself and a fresh perspective from an outside view of Korea. Thank you for your videos S&M.

the ice cream shop is very san francisco themed; even named the store after cross streets in the city "fell and cole"and they have a poster that says marin headlands with the classic golden bridge in the picture. i wonder if the city has a special meaning to the owners

Actually i stumbled upon this channel, and the simonmartina channel by accident a few weeks ago, while searching for korean food..but i ended up watching all the TLDR, FAPFAP, WANK..and Kpop monday..videos on the channel.. and was a bit surprised to know Simon and Martina had been to Singapore this year.. I think its a wonderful channel that answers a lot of international viewer's curiosity on certain things about korea.. like getting ard Seoul w/o knowing korean or getting a haircut in Seoul..

Yeah. Fell+Cole is San Franciscan inspired ice cream, if you google Fell+Cole, there are articles tellling about how the ice cream is inspired by SF's gastronomic ice cream. it is deamed as a San Francisco ice cream representative in Seoul.

In Chinatown, NYC there is an ice cream place that has interesting flavors kind of like this. Things like black sesame, red bean, leechee, avocado, green tea, and fortune cookie (those are the flavors I can remember). Pretty good!

That reminds me: I was in budapest,hungary last month and there was a small ice cream shop were they sell ice cream in a form of a rose and it was soooo tasty! There was chocolate chili, basil, lavender, olive and more common ice cream flavors like strawberry too and I know it sounds gross but it's actually really really delicious! They are quite famous so check them out when you're in europe :D

Every year they have the ice cream fair in Mexico. The ice cream there varies from normal to medicinal to exotic, like rattle snake, roses, agave worm, vodka, and Tequila. If you guys ever visit Mexico you need to go to that fair :)!

Wow a Korean TV show called 먹거리X파일 (Food X File) just designated fell and cole a Chakan Sikdang (honest restaurant) !! Apparently they use no artificial ingredients at all ( no food coloring, no emulsifier, etc) and put a bit of Whiskey in every ice cream they make for rich flavor!!
