Koi fish play in fish tank

erm , dont wanna bug coz its a great setup , but to those that are amazed , its called an observatory . its just an aquarium upside down which has had its air vacuumed thus the water goes up just like it would if under the water level . if your asking yourself what they did in the beginning of the movie , they threw floating pellets into the aquarium so the fish would feed in it , as a small fraction of the air is still trapped inside the vacuumed tank .

really cool way to display the fish. i assume this is a fairly simple method. submerse aquarium, then pull it up to trap the water and place it on the bricks. it's a really good idea for viewing the fish. u probably have to get in there often to clean the glass from algea. interesting.

beautiful pond! I recently added one of these fish domes to my pond, however my fish seem un interested. is it required that you put food into the elevated tank to get them to go up in it everytime? or do they become familiar with it and go on there on some times? thanks!

I don't know if I would use this idea for a koi pond with that many larger fish as they can get real enthusiastic at feeding time and possibly knock the tank off its stand. I would try to be sure to make it as sturdy as possible to prevent this but also make a larger area seeing the size of the koi and how many there are. but otherwise I truly love this idea

you have to pull the air out from the top or raise the water by pulling it like a tube, then could either leave it open or block it like this guy.

no way i just did that in my pond! i thought my idea was original to put a tank upside down and just barely below water level. it sucks when you get bubbles in there. your koi are huge. my biggest so far is like 7 inches
