Glad to hear you like the videos enough to want more! However, I've been trying to shift from 40-60 minute videos on average down to 20-30 minute ones, both so I can maintain a healthy pace and also because it looks like even on my best videos, few people watch past 20 minutes or so.

One of the conditions is better mouse function, so it cancels out 😄

Well, this is certainly a different flavour to your Age of Mythology runs! I've clearly missed a lot of setup and context jumping in halfway through to see a screen full of a dozen followers each with a laundry list of status effects, plus a lot of very eclectic multiclassing. I may have to get caught up at some point. So if you're forgoing any kind of Long resting, does that mean your spell slots above 1 are basically being treated as once per campaign, like Divine Intervention? I see you mentioned using Spellthief to restore Level 1 slots, but what about the rest?
@Melth2 ай бұрын
You might get some context from my last build update video a few episodes ago! As for spell slots, you're mostly right. Most of my spell slots are once per *act*, since you get a rest-less full restore at the beginning of each act of the game.
@strunkshade2 ай бұрын
Have you thought about trying some new party setups in act 3. Once you get there and have access to basically any possible Op build I would enjoy the series way more seeing different party comps and strategies(especially for big fights). You have cool ways of explaining your reasoning for build choices and I think that is a big part of the series. So why limit it to just these builds (especially when we're so used to this exact same play style over and over, it would be cool to mix it up)
@Melth2 ай бұрын
I'm glad to hear you like when I talk about various builds. I do think it would be most true to the spirit of this challenge though if I keep the same builds throughout. I'll do another run after this with 4 different builds
@strunkshade2 ай бұрын
@@Melth Right! I do sometimes forget its not just a youtube series but also a challenge, you run through most fights so easily I forget it even is "9 hells". Nice to hear that you plan on more in the future though.

Didn't they nerf learning scrolls as a lvl one wizard or is this playthrough on an older patch?

Not unless that literally just happened or something. These were recorded a few weeks ago, and I've been able to keep learning from scrolls as normal pretty recently

Do you think drinking a bloodlust potion would make u more irritable for the day?
@Melth2 ай бұрын
@@samuelpetrunyak4989 that's a good question! But it doesn't seem to give you energy or extra aggressiveness BEFORE you kill someone (as you might expect), it only encourages you to push for more AFTER killing someone. So maybe it makes you feel nothing about killing, or be resistant to fatigue rather than irritable?

Im confused on the rules about resting. No longer rest? Is he just not using spell?
@Melth2 ай бұрын
@@356z I need to be verrry careful about using spells because I can't get them back, so I make sure to only use them when it'll make a big difference
@356z2 ай бұрын
@Melth i was half asleep when I typed that. No LONG REST so ya you only get the recovery of 2 short rests the game? What about using the potion that makes you sleep?
@Melth2 ай бұрын
@@356z I won't use any rest potions, I don't use any restoration pods, I won't use the restoring bath in the House of Hope, and if I have to respec or travel or something else which restores HP and resources I make sure to write down how much HP and how many spell slots I had before and then attack myself and waste spells until I'm back where I started. The only restorations I get throughout the entire game are at the start of each act
