I swear to you every woman has been in a situation where she couldn't get rid of a random guy after rejecting him on the street. One late night I got followed home by a dude who started negotiating with me to come back to his place. I just passed my own house because I didn't want him to know where I lived. It went on for like 15 mins. I was so frustrated and scared until I was just BEGGING him to leave me alone. I was so lucky that he didn't become aggressive she could have overpowered me easily and there was no one around. Eventually he got tired of it and left. My heart beats so fast just thinking back.

As woman the whole gym scene feels the worst one honestly. If a random man comes up to me man and is being weird and I can't really understand what he wants from me, that makes me the most scared. It always gives me the feeling that I can't predict what they're about to do and what their intentions are. I've had men come up to me, mumbling things and when I ask for clarification they blow up on me and get angry. Someone blatantly hitting on me and then just walking away is way more comfortable than just someone coming up to me, mumbling about tinder and staring at me.

The mumbling part is 100% true. This guy was by a head shorter than me, i am a man, and *he scared the total crap* out of me. I can usually tell when a beautiful woman is in my area of the gym because some of the guys that generally look around suddenly all have their heads in the same direction. Must be intimidating to just be walking to a machine and feeling 4 pairs of eyes on you. Glancing past feels different. meanwhile I just do my exercises, but if it bothers me just to witness it, I can't imagine how it feels to go through it. Like, you shouldn't need to bring another person to feel safe. And not saying glances or short looks are bad, but when their eyes are on her for like 40 seconds in a minute, come on.. Eyes on the machine please.
