Saltlake sector 5 to Ruby connect kore dile office jatrider extreme benefit hobe. It is beyond my understanding of why they are not finishing the pillars and laying caps and girders when there is already land available, because the foundation of the pillars has already been established.

Thik bolechen Anish babu. Saltlake to Ruby is an important section that will make easy connection for officegoers of Ruby area. And in that way, Science city will also be connected to metro, so the holidayers hassles will be somewhat taken care of as the station is on the opposite side of the road and main entrance is quite the walking distance from the nearest metro stop.

Metro careless carshed is being built following the road right to Owl more

Why is this a careless move by metro in your opinion? Do you have any alternative location for the metro depot? That can maintain all the metro rakes all at once? Currently I found Google maps not updated with the under construction metro carshed.....so I hope lot of work for these depot is still left. Currently a new depot is coming up in New Garia side that will serve the Airport metro lines, there will be a large underground stabling yard for metro rakes in Airport....it would be seen from the line going to Barasat via Airport (Line 4)

Except Jai Hind, which is the airport metro station, all other stations are elevated. Jai Hind station will have an underground stabling yard for metro train.
