Thank you so much sis for this recipe 🙏🏾 only question the 1/2 cup of flour added to the butter is it part of the 31/2 cup used for the dough ? Or the recipe needs 4 cups of flour?

Thank you for being so considerate with speaking in both English and Creole. I know that it must be hard but i really appreciate that. I was born in an Haitian household and i sadly don't know how to speak any Creole and i can only speak English, but i really wanted to learn how to make this dish because Pate is one of my favorite foods and my Mom doesn't make it often because of how long it takes and there aren't any places that make this where i live. So again thank you for posting an amazing recipe and taking your time to show us how to make this and how you presented this in an manner that is accessible to everyone. I'll be sure to make this soon. :)

I'm not sure if you still see comments for this video, but might you advise putting the folds in the freezer for those of us living in the Caribbean? It's so hot and butter melts quickly just out the fridge. Would freezer ruin anything?
@Liseinthekitchen2 жыл бұрын
Hey. No the freezer wouldn’t just don’t live it in there for long. You want the dough to be cool not cold. Otherwise it will fall apart. Hope this helps.

I appreciate it the way you would teach step by step how to make a patient's party and also only two things I have to set you forgot to say in kreyol how make sure your counter has to be clean you said in English but you did not say it in kreyol and also when you said in English it was my fault that the door was stick so you have enough flour you said in English but in Creole you shorten it didn't say it was your fault that's only cuz I have to say but after that you did a wonderful job I liked it and remind me and I try it and remind me of the party back home when I was in Haiti well done I guess you was really tired that day but you did a beautiful job🤗😘🙏💔🍷🥂🍽

Because we don't eat it every day
