I use a cargo net to hold it all together when you want to cinch the saddlebags flat! Works like a charm!

I don't have a template. I searched and found the rack system for the Honda XR 180 and took several screenshots of the racks. Then, gave the pics to the guy that fabricates motorcycle accessories here. He made them exactly like the pics!

I managed to get a pair of these second hand for $40 and seems to be missing the clips to go through those plastic D rings, wondering if reusable cable ties might work? I'm on a Honda CB125 so want to try check before I go taking the seat off.

Yeah. Mine just stretch over the bags. There is an elastic band sewn in.

All of the straps mount under the seat so just the buckles hang out. It makes it easy to take the saddle bags on and off.
