To give each set of curves individual twists, consider binding the 'copynum' attribute into the point VOP (see file in the description).

super! is there a way to bind the noise to the curve u so you could have control of the noise along the z length of the "threads"? edit: oh I see that is what the u does, maybe can promoted to a chl slider?
