Konjac is what miracle noodles are made from. Those gluten-free squeaky noodles when you fry them.😂😂😂😂 they remind me of purple reddish Calla lilies, and it’s the “corn” the stamen looking part in the middle of the flower that makes the starch.

I love this look. I've tried it with olive oil, but even after 10 hours it smelled like the oil and felt a little oily. Do you think I used to heavy of an oil? and I am assuming it won't dry so it will end up rancid? what about using coconut oil...will that get rancid smelling?

Have you tried gluing down a piece of this paper (the kind made using oil)? I’m concerned that the oil will prevent the glue from sticking. What’s your experience with it? Thanks.

After doing this with oil, can you use acrylic gel medium to attach it to a mixed medium piece? And would it be archival with the oil in it?
@KoolKookyKreatures10 ай бұрын
Hi there - not sure about how archival it would be with oil. Anyone else have an idea on this? I would test a piece of it with acrylic gel before sticking. I tend to use Nori paste for this which is a starch based glue. ❤️

I love momigami paper,but if it’s an inkjet print the ink smears, so I’m going to try an 11x14 sheet momigami the clean paper then try and print on it. In my mind I keep thinking the printer would flatten it back out🤷♀️

I tried this last night with a sheet of glossy paper from a magazine. I didn't use anything like oil, lotion, etc. I wound up with a grey piece of paper and a ton of dusty residue on my desk, which I presume was the ink or gloss that came off the paper. It was pretty awful and disappointing. No one seems to mention this - and perhaps using oil minimizes that result?
@KoolKookyKreatures10 ай бұрын
