This was one of the breaks that were cut in the Bronx and I didn’t find it until I bought 2 copies of Spirit of the Boogie, my mind was blown away

This was the best music from the last and best era in American music; it started in the mid-40s(maybe a few decades before) and grew or evolved into what we then had in the 1970s and early 1980s-before it all started to die out-what happened to the music? Thank God for what we had then! 7-31-24.

I think it has a lot to do with technology and electronics slowly creeping into the music scene, as the 80s go on you start to notice the decline of using actual instruments in favor of using artificial tools for music. The moment artists couldnt even use actual drums anymore to create beats and instead used monitors, you already knew true music was dead. That is my analysis though. And I'm only 16.
