( House Of Music Recording Studio) We had hit songs but didn't the have full promotion we deserved. With out promotion you can't be successful in the music business. Kool & The Gang is great. Bless Robert Kool Bell all the other members have pass away and he still doing it.

So I been doing karaoke for quite awhile at lest since 2008 when my nephew had a club downtown..Well I done all the Motowns , soft rock , and the Elton John’s, so I decided to try Kool and the Gang. Easy by the Commodores use to be my go to but when I went after this one. It just fits I invited one my friends to sing . It was classic . I remember back in 1973 when Funky Stuff was rocking Langston University. I’m telling you the yard was hot in this little northern town of Oklahoma.. Well Git down on it is a call and response song and once you feel it it just takes you there . All the brass and kool kicking that bass . And that break down is incredible. I met my lady of 45 years and she never said anything about buying music and just let me be myself . So when I hit the karaoke spots the young white adults love it . I told this boy during the song It’s the 70 baby when the music was hot . He just grin and shook his head . Ooh ooh . Ya’ll don’t hear me?
