Deleted Villagers in Animal Crossing

I know Meow and Bow were based on Japanese products, which is why they were exclusive to the E+ game, but I really wish that Nintendo would bring them back someday. I'm also really miffed about Pierre (the clown cat) being deleted. It'd be cool to have more than just Pietro in terms of circus-y villagers.

Pierre is so adorable. I would definitely have him on my island if he was in new horizons. I really hope he comes back eventually, he's definitely one of the cutest deleted villagers. Same with Meow. Those two would make excellent additions to my cat island.

As much as I wanted Meow and Bow back, it could potentially be a copyrighting issue which is why they're kept away which also applies to other none-Nintendo cross-over villagers

I actually cried a little when that 2.0 update dropped and we were introduced to the (not so new) Roswell. He was formally known as Pironkon, and was not only a JP exclusive, but an ISLAND ONLY villager, too. So to not only see him return in glorious HD, but also learn that he's been re-worked into a weird headlight-eyed gator that's obsessed with aliens? Truly a dream come true for me. I love my cryptid neighbor.

Yess!! I love all the gator villagers and I have Pironkon and Liz original e-reader cards from n64/gamecube Animal Crossing. I was so happy to see they brought him back as Roswell. His design in ACNH looks very clean and stands out from the rest of the gators. My only wish is for Liz to come back as well, but she'd probably be too similar looking with Gayle (who I also love).

Ever since Wolf Link was added as a cameo in New Leaf, I was OBSESSED. I’ve always been a LOZ fan every since a kid so seeing Wolf Link was a big hit of excitement. But that was only in New Leaf. Although it won’t happen, I would love for him to come to ACNH since it is way more advanced, and you have more interaction options. I STAN WOLF LINK 🐺🌌🗡

When 2.0 was anounced, I was SO EXCITED becuase I thought that we would get crossover villagers back and I could finally get inkwell on my island. I also reaaaaally wanted bow and meow to come back. And now they are forever stuck in the void. Until maybe splatoon 3. Then maybe we'll get inkwell, or a new octoling-based villager.

I’m still sad that they never added Aziz to new horizons. He in my opinion, was the best designed lion. The bindi on his head, his bold smile. I love him. He adds a splash of culture and color to the bland cast of lions.

I was really hoping that they would bring in Tarou during the final update because my island is wolf themed but I also try to have one of each personality type around. And there are no Jock, Lazy, or Big Sister Wolves. Almost every single wolf is Cranky or Snooty. As of right now there is only 1 Smug wolf, 1 Sweet wolf, and 1 Peppy wolf. This is crazy to me, I don't know why they would relegate the majority of the wolves to 2 personalities! Undeleting Tarou would've added some much needed variety!

I'm glad they don't generally remove villagers based off popularity. As a certified Rodney Appreciator I would hate to risk having "ugly" villagers disappear. Every villager is someone's favorite :)

I've been allowing autofills on my island and building as i go and until i reach a location reserved for a specific dreamie i just let the game randomly move anyone in. So called ugly and unpopular villagers are not that bad. I'm ok with my monkey and the many other non popular villagers, i even have both Sasha and Shino as autofills and they feel no more or less exciting than the other villagers. I don't get why everyone going crazy obsessing over hating on villagers or arguing over who's more cute than who. The ones on my dreamie list feel more personal or i had them before and liked them, others are simply cute and i love having them around. The only villager i can say i hate is Rhonda, and the villager i'd call retched to look at is Naomi, everybody else is fine. I can deal with ugly because what others call ugly i call charming and unique, but everything clashes on Naomi, she's too weird and hurt my eyes for me to be ok with her with her red eyeliner, blue fur, fuchsia swirly dress....

Which won’t happen, version wise, since 3.0 would be a major update, which Nintendo said will not happen anymore. Maybe in a minor 2.1 type of update, but I honestly wouldn’t have too high hopes of that either.

It sucks that we probably won't see any new Animal Crossing stuff for at least 3 more years. They've never had more than one entry on a single console, so we probably won't see a new one until Nintendo moves on from the Switch. And that doesn't seem likely to happen anytime soon.

I miss Gannon from New Leaf. I didn't know what to expect when I scanned my 8-bit link amiibo into new leaf but it was a treat getting a world conquering demon who also liked to catch bugs. He would just be out walking catching butterflies and then he would just say a off line about watching the world burn I really hope we get a "welcome amiibo" style update for New Horizen especially with Splatoon DLC and the new Zelda game around the corner.

I remembered walking home with a friends from school last year and we spotted a cat in someone’s yard and started talking about how fat the cat was. I said to my friend “Isn’t it strange how calling a human fat is rude, but calling a cat fat is funny?” To which he responded with “Eh, my cat is WAY fatter than that cat!”

What if every Animal Crossing game only had 200 villagers? And they're always the same super cute and popular ones. Like Ione, Pekoe, Shino, and Ankha. And they're always super easy to obtain with little time and effort. And none of them gets deleted in every installment. the fact champ didn't even return in new horizons as a villager again and possibly never makes me sad and confused, i know porter NEVER became an actual NPC you could talk with in new horizons, but hear me out: NEW HORIZONS WOULD'VE BEEN THE PERFECT GAME TO BRING CHAMP BACK! because you could tell how since trains aren't an option in the package that tom nook created... porter is actually taking a break from his job and now hes deciding to form a villager life once again until hes a NPC again! aka... hes sorta taking a vacation in the island. also i agree... the islanders should come back.
