Patil Jan! Hi it’s Eric and Tatiana. So happy you’ve done this video and have visited S Korea. As a (now retired) Soldier, I have served with many other service members who have served on the DMZ. As an infantryman being stationed there is wholly different t than anywhere else we go. It’s war but it’s not. It’s stable but anything but. Most people don’t know there’s still a state of war there. Thank you for bringing that up. The situation there is unfortunately not unique. I mean, it is on its own way as any war or border is, but increasingly common now… the Hayastan/and Azeri border (as much as those lines are changing daily). Georgia and Mordor (Russia). Well for that matter, Russia and everyone they border! China and their ever-expanding borders. The world is increasingly unstable and dangerous. It’s ironic that as we get to a state in technology where life and sustainability are peaking, humans are bent on ruining it all. It’s important who we vote in as leaders in that it’s not just about what they can do for a country. But to consider how they will act and react with other countries. We all have to play in the same sandbox so it’s important to help those defend themselves against the bullies and support those who are trying to improve the world. Brave and wise of you to share this video and we are so very proud of you for doing so. And, most importantly, we know your mom would be too!

I have been to both Koreas, the north and south DMZ tours. However, I have yet to go on the suspension bridge. So I definitely want to try it!
