She can be both. And yes she has lots to do with Korea. She grew up in a Korean household, her parents lived in Korea, and she lives in Korea now. So she stayed connected to Korea. But most white and Black Americans lived in the US for like 400 years for many generations and most of them have barely any contact or connection with their country of origin or let's say countrieS cuz the average white American is a mix of multiple European countries and sometimes with some non-European ones too. And it's a similar case for Black Americans and Africa so no it's not similar to her. However if an American parents came directly from Russia for example and they're still connected to it yes they're Russian too.

The British guy is confused, Guyana is not a Latin American country. Even though they are in South America and are surrounded by Latin American countries their culture is totally different. They do not speak a romance language, their kanguage is English. 50% of the population are of Indian origin, 45% african origin, the rest are native american caribbean origin. Their culture is closer to people from the Indian subcontinent than to people from Latam. Unfortunately, South Americans don't know much about Guyana, Surinam or French Guiana. They don't even play football in South American tournaments. Their most popular sport is cricket, like other former British colonies.

There are actually two countries in south America which are not latin. Which is Surinam and Guyana. They are next to each other. So I do not know much about Guyana, but my dad is from Surinam and he explained that no Latin speaking country ever colonized it long enough to be latin (the Spanish , Portugeze and because of the leagues group also the French). But culture wize Surinam and probably also Guyana are both latin as well as Caribbean. Explaining it in words is hard, but being there, eating the food, hearing the history, the shared love for music, you know what I mean. So technically no, but on 'feeling' - wize this is a probably a yes.
