Are all eels electric? No, in fact, no eels are electric. There is an animal called an "electric eel," but it is not really an eel. It does not belong to the eel order, Anguilliformes. The electric eel is a fish that does generate electricity using a series of electric organs located throughout its body. Moray eels do not generate electricity.

Eat Your Kimchi Yummy! I love eel! Also, fun fact of the day: There are no eels that generate electricity. There's a species of fish called the "electric eel" but it's technically not an eel

That food looks amazing but Simon's ponytail tho. Anyways I know I have been a bit persistent about the topic but can you guys do a TLDR on weird things that are illegal and confusing things that are legal in Korea! Thanks and love you guys💚

Love the food. I'm supposed to be studying but couldn't help but watch when I saw the thumbnail. In Simin's defense, he looks alright with the beard and hair. He's staying in character as a man warrior. Nothing wrong with that :D

! Information Time ! There are two kinds of eel in korea. Fresh water eel (민물장어) and Sea eel (바다장어). Fresh water eels are oiler and rich in flavor, thus much more expensive. Sea eels on the other hand are not as oily as freah water eels and are a lot cheaper. (Sea eels are also tasty to me) Looks like you guys had sea eel. 1. sea sid area 2. cheap price (fresh water eels usually cost 60$ per killogram) Oh one more thing. you guys are talking about how charcoal(soot) adds smoky flavor to the food. i can't aree more anything taste better with soot. we call it 숯불구이 Now there also are different kinds of soot. 1. natural chamsoot 2. artificial soot natural one is better for both taste and health. how do you know the difference? artificial ones are like the ones in the video. They look manmade and usually has holes in the middle. natural ones just look like burnt woods. each pieces dont look the same.
@JforAll0010 жыл бұрын
OMG i must be retarded. There is another kind of eel. its called inshor hagfish(꼼장어) it has a chewy texture and the most expensive out of all three. usually go with soju in a soju place.
@goverawati34810 жыл бұрын
WOOOWW !! That was so expensiveeeeeeeeeeee~ ~~ God, I can buy another meal if the price 60 $/kg ! In my country, 1 kg eel only 8 $ !! But not really popular food, but taste was sooooo goood >

But I wanted to say that I have eaten eels before and they are one of most delicious and my favorite fish.

I couldnt help but notice that Martina is truely Korean - she does the subtle stuff that only Koreans would do. For example, on the 해장국 video, she eats by taking a spoon of rice and dip it in the soup before eating. That's real Korean. In the 막걸리 video, the way she grabs the bowl is the correct way (different than the way Simon did it". Also, if you can eat 홍회 or 청국장 and actually enjoy it, you are KOREAN!!!

Eat Your Kimchi I love seeing you guys speaking more koreans. Please do speak koreans. I don't care if your pronounciation is good or bad.
