They have a nice surplus store in lapu lapu called MAHALO.....few meters from Gaisank Grandmall in Basak lapu lapu.

@@villagepeoplephilippines It's definitely worth a video. It's a really nicely maintained and organized store, the owner takes pride in his work....plus theirs a lot of expats in the area who might not know about it. Some of the stuff can be a bit on the pricey side, but it's high quality and unique stuff you won't find in department stores . Of course you can haggle. I've furnished 2 houses with stuff from there, I'm satisfied

Good video. I have been to many second hand stores in Cebu. Most of them are higher prices than brand new from Lazada and shopee. You can haggle but they don't come down much, cheaper brand new online

Here in the US. People dump there lightly used funitures in the road so the garbage truck dumps them in the trash dump. In my neighborhood alone which is a rich neighborhood. I picked up washing machines, dryers, desk, cabinets, chairs etc. Some I resold. People here just don't want to deal with their selling stuff their stuff or post an ad on Craigslist for a free furniture for pickup. It's better to have a furniture reused than going to a landfill.

Lol... I have the exact same dining table. I paid 400 USD in Korea. Brand new 😅. They want 500 USD for used? Greeeedy 😆. And I did not know you can't post a pic here. Otherwise I would post a pic of my dining table.
