British Highschoolers try Korean BBQ for the first time!!

Today we take British high school students on a full course Korean Pork Belly BBQ experience.
Starting from the meat, then the Ssam, and finishing with a classic Kimchi fried rice!
Everyone in this video including the crew had a negative COVID-19 test prior to shooting.
All activities were fully risk assessed and monitored in accordance with UK government guidelines.

I just discovered this series, and I absolutely LOVE all of these boys! They are so fun, so likable, and just an absolute joy to watch. They never fail to make me smile and laugh, and their comments and friendships are just the best. 한국인들이 김치가 맛있다고 하는건 김치찌개 김치볶음밥 김치전 등등 뭘 만들어 먹어도 맛있는걸 알기 때문에 맛 있다고 하는 건데 외국인들은 그냥 김치만 먹고 맛있다고 리액션 취하는게 말이 안된다 생걱했었어요. 이렇게 김치를 삼겹살에 볶아먹고 김치볶음밥으로 만들어 먹게끔 해야 김치의 참맛을 알죠. 좋은 영상입니다.

1년 정도 런던서 지냈을 때 집 마당에서 선 삼겹살 굽고, 양념에 재워둔 돼지 갈비도 굽고 잡채, 김치전도 만들고 ... 당시 영국서 구제역 때문에 소고기를 안 먹는 분위기라 통조림 참치 넣고 미역국도 끓여 외국 친구들 불러서 파티 했었는데... 먹어본 적 없을 파절이도 잘 먹고, 쌈장은 1KG나 되는 걸 친구들이 다 먹어 치웠죠. 혹시나 해서 끓인 된장찌개까지 동이 나서 나중엔 친구들이 밥에 고추장과 참기름, 김 자반 뿌려 밥 비벼 먹기까지... 그랬던 20대 시절이 그립네요. 런던도 그립구요. 서로 다른 8개국 나라에서 와서 온 친구들... 말도 잘 안 통하면서 금요일만 되면 여기저기 각자 자기 나라 음식 먹으러 식당 찾아 단체로 몰려 가곤 했는데 다른 나라 음식 먹으러 한 번 가면서 애들이 자꾸 한국 식당 가서 돌솥 비빔밥에 불고기 먹자고.. 두 달 사이 4번이나 가서 나랑 다른 한국 친구가 제발 다른 나라 음식 좀 먹어보자고 .. 아니면 우리는 빼고 가라고 했던 기억이 나네요. 아주 오래전 일인데도 ..그 때도 외국 친구들이 한국 음식 좋아했어요. 김도 좋아하고 커피믹스도 좋아했고 지금은 사라진 찾기 힘든 인삼껌? 줬더니 한국은 이런 비싼 걸 껌으로 만들어 씹냐고 했던 기억이 나네요 ㅎㅎㅎ

우리는 아무 생각 없이 그냥 당연하게 먹는 상추, 깻잎, 쌈장, 볶음밥, 등. 솔직히 고깃집 가서 안 먹을때도 많은데 이 친구들은 진짜 하나하나 다 새롭게 즐겁게 맛있게 먹어서 너무 행복하다.

@@zisd1111 그거 왠만해선 진짜 드시지말아요 ㅋㅋ 왜냐면 어떤 식당은 장식용이니까 씻어서 재사용하는 경우도 있거든요

@@user-pd2ph2xe2z 한국에서도 상추 같이 조리 안된 건 남으면 씻어서 씁니다. 불법 아니고 상추 같은 건 합법이에요
