Same. But I got shitty scared because there were no lights. I don’t like watching horror movies in the darkness and with multiple people. I’m fine watching by myself or with two or three people but definitely not 10 or more. I watched Hush on my own in the next morning and loved it.

2:32 I didn't realize that was the same character in Haunting of Hill House and Haunting of Bly Manor. I really recommend the series (maybe watch the full series on your own time, you don't get the same effect just by watching 1 - 2 random episodes because within each season, it all ties together) It's scary, but at the end, I was crying 😂.

Both series were sooooo good. Usually I don't like prolonged episodes unless they're worth watching let me tell you I stayed til 8am finishing hill house I needed to know what happened & I cried my fckn eyes out at the end 😂💯 but two definitely have some sort of connection I just can't put my finger on it on exactly what that is. It gets you thinking & the suspense was amazing for both. The more you watch it the more stuff you pick up on compared to watching it the first time haha just excellent. Can't wait for another series by them

From the first trailer, even before watching Birdbox, my initial reaction was "So, it's like 2008's The Happening but with something supernatural causing the mass suicides instead of plants?" After watching it, I really hated how accurate my instincts were.

Hush is a great movie if you're looking for... a horror movie where the victim wins against the violent killer. Not just escapes Final Girl style, but wins, fighting tooth and nail. It's a cathartic movie for multiple reasons.

*+OSSC* If you want to see more quality Netflix horror, I'd HIGHLY recommend 2016's The Autopsy of Jane Doe. Honestly, the 2nd half isn't as good as the first half imo and the twist wasn't my favorite but I still personally consider it a solid B horror flick.

*+OSSC* If 2019's Wounds made you uncomfortable, try sitting through 2006's Bug sometime. It's admittedly a slow burn in the 1st act, but gets progressively unnerving once the plot kicks in. It's great psychological horror, especially for building paranoia.
