Thanks for watching! Here you'll find a link to a related blog on my website; www.devingademan.com/writings/korg-m1-dream-pad/ On the website itself you will find more articles related to the Korg M1 and more! Every time that I see the rear panel of my M1 exterior, I can't let it go unnoticed how relatively small the letters "M1 & Korg" are displayed compared to almost all other models. I still suspect - based on your kind messages and some research - that all M1's under either the 005000, 004000, or 003000 have this (former) design. I have also posted a blog about this on my website dating from December 6, 2022. There was - and still is - little to no information about this difference in design that can be found on the web so any conformation or lead is therefore welcome. -DG

Thank you! Yes, it’s a great patch. Slightly overshadowed by some of the more well known M1 presets that everyone will recognize. I like it when those digital artefacts sorta ‘play up’ the more you drift away from the main source sample, often times spread out all over the keys and sometimes split up in maybe 3/4(?) samples (as with the famous M1 piano patch). Pad sounds from this era are also really useful when arranging/composing. I plan to do more videos like these.
