I guess I didn't realize how many other people were fans of the Wavestation, but I am thrilled that it was a viable enough idea to implement. I got my Wavestate today and I'm blown away by how great the interface is for such a deep instrument.

I just got one last week. I am working my way through understanding it, but I haven't figured out how to get fine adjustments in the effects section. For example fine adjusting the amount of an effects parameter with a knob. It seems very touchy and hard to go from 1.0 to 1.5 for instance. It jumps past the point I want even when delicately turning the knob.

Every time when I change the sound,the tempo changes too, how can I set a tempo for all different sounds?

Thank you for the review - i'm going to get one today to have some fun with but would like to understand the terminology more so could you recommend a way for me to learn the jargon please ? As a non musician i was going to get a groovebox in preference to a synthesiser for simplicity but chanced on a review by loopop's channel and the sound from this was incredible and i've found a stockist just down the road from me ! Also it's not too big which was also a consideration.So excited i can't wait to get started - and at 68 there's not many things to get excited about !

Can you show the menu access rout to sound fx? Example how do I get to Foot Steps FX?

Is there a way to have the envelopes trigger with each step of a sequence?

Yes, just go to the envelope and page over to Trigger Src. Then select "Generators" -> "Step Pulse".

Great navigation, but it is annoying that category is not remembered, I always need to set the category

a truly wonderful instrument; seriously considering a purchase. since I am totally blind , would like to know what happens if Shift+Randomize are pressed together; what exactly are the tips and help pages that appear on the display? thanks a bunch for such a wonderful synth. Roy.

Mine arrives in 2 days Roy, but have been thoroughly reading the owner's manual avaliable from the Korg website. I think it may help give you further insight into navigating this wonderful instrument, especially if you're totally blind. Wouldn't it be cool if all the knobs and buttons had maybe braille icons, and a tactille braille screen? Fire Korg an email and see what they respond with!

@@sfundawge I believe the librarian software is only used for organising performances, presets and that kind of thing. Might be worth posting on gearslutz.com www.gearslutz.com/board/electronic-music-instruments-and-electronic-music-production/1293634-new-korg-wavestate.html?s=18d54e6c77e866c0063183b794bbbd21 as there is an 108 page (!) thread on there. Loads of clever and inventive people on there who seem to love a challenge! Let me know if you can't find it.
