Last Saturday I assembled a multitude of gamers and we all worked together to bring you an absolutely bonkers world record in Super Mario Bros. 35. This is completely insane, but it might not be the end... We'll keep doing this! Next time is this Saturday!

That last run was freaking incredible, cheers to all those who made it to the red timer! What I found interesting is that by doing some simple math I found that getting 50,000 coins is actually possible. Assuming all 35 players make it to red timer, no one uses roulette, and everyone picks good coin levels, 50k is possible if each player dies with 1,384 coins which, while insanely difficult, is possible. I think it is crazy how just a couple of weeks ago 4,000 coins was considered a large amount while now we're getting into 20k and possibly 30k and above. Btw I doubt we will ever achieve the hacker score of 99,999 because for that to happen each player would need to get around 2,772.2 coins.

That means if k.o the total coins from winer goes down Eg 2 players gets by one 1000 coins before lose by one. Chess box have 1000. Now if a player get k.o the 500 coins goes to. Ather player pocket and in chest finally goes 750 correct...

Yeah, pretty much. So the chest only has 750 compared to 1000 if both players died naturally, which is 500 less coins for the winner

You know I think it would be neat if instead of just of the roulette money just going away if whenever you use the roulette ten coins goes into a separate section of the pool, so that if you die the winner is rewarded in the end for making you have to use the roulette, but if you win you're still minorly penalized for having to use the roulette

I'm impressed with how well this game is holding up, it's a very tactical game without any real game-ruining exploits, it seems like the best way to win is just by doing the best you can and knowing how the game works. The only real problem is how much it gets bogged down in the early levels but that's so easy to fix that it's a little ridiculous, plus in a way it balances the game further by helping the people who didn't memorize every little thing in the game.

Fun Fact in Super Mario Bros 35 you can play as Luigi all you had to do is hold down L at the select a course and start match keep holding L and when the match starts you can now play as Luigi.

You notice that towards the end of the match, the timer counts down at 10x speed (10 timer seconds per IRL second). Either that is the maximum timer speed, or the timer speed will still continue to increase if somehow the match went on for longer (20x speed, 30x speed, 60x speed, and so on and so forth).

Why is the new high score naked? I thought this was Nintendo not a hentai company. :( The best way to pass on coins to one player and get coin record would be for everyone to systematically die one by one to the player who can consistently jackpot the most coin blocks, but that’s unrealistically complicated. Instead, just be sure to die to freshly sent enemies to pas your coins more safely to the final 5. Use bonus pipes and coin heavens to clear out an extreme amount of enemies a dead player has sent.
