The footage looks amazing, people are still debating it (Pat 2-1 but the people who are saying Charron got robbed or he got bodied are both a bit off) it was the battle that Pat started the show the evolution of his style, it has a ton of quotable and the infamous Hollowhan incident. A legendary battle and the biggest KOTD matchup to that point.

The guy could go from hilarious jokes to dead serious stack patterns within seconds and completely switch the mood of the venue. Both his opponent and audience were absolutely captured by him and he has countless quotables. He made god tier battle rappers crumble at his feet and gave us classic after classic. “I’ll make it a point too like a fifth of a gram!”

Pat Stay helped me with my sobriety without ever knowing it. I reached out to him a few times and never heard anything back which I don't fault him for I just wanted him to know how much he helped me in my journey. His death was the first time in a long time that I cried for someone passing. I promised myself once I was 3 years clean I was going to see him battle and meet him. I will be 3 years clean in August of this year and I will never be able to fulfill that promise, that goal, that dream. R.I.P Pat I love you bro

RIP Pat Stay Arguably the best battle rapper ever, the guy that the majority of battle rappers have consistently said "I would never battle that n1gga". He always came with a bunch of different flows, an entire 2nd round dedicated to clowning you for things you've done and said, and room shaking moments, and much more. Pat Stay was a 1 out of 8 billion type of man. Nobody will ever fill his shoes and its beyond devastating to even his fans, let alone the people who knew him.

I watched Pat grow up .Him and I were extremely similar in humor ,hip-hop , positive energy and even size I'm 6'4" 235 lbs and I lived the lifestyle most people rap about. I put the gangsterism away in 2006 when my daughter was born. So many parallels . I cried myself to sleep for weeks. Forever Pat will be missed . My sincerest condolences to his friends and family.

Here's an idea...not sure if anyone's already brought that up but, you guys at KOTD should put out word and not only put together an archive of all of the KOTD footage that has Pat in it (both on stage and behind the scenes) but, from SMACK, RBE, and so on...as well as create something where fans can submit all of their personal photos and videos of/or with Pat...and, give copies of all of it to Pat's family so his children will have it, to turn to as they grow up.
