Sofia, this recipe looks very interesting. We never put nuts in ours, only flour. And we flavor them with a yiayia's glass of metaxa. We had quite a challenge trying to figure out the volume of yiayia's glass!!

Oh yes, yiayia's glass...I always (and still do) have trouble figuring out the volume :-) I haven't used metaxa for kourabiedes before although it sounds lovely. Give this recipe a try, the toasted chopped almonds are just lovely. Merry Christmas!
