I'm going to disagree with a few things you noted, though I will say there is a solid case for Oden defeating Big Mom at the end of this comment: 1) Big Mom scraping her knee was something explained by her having severe mental trauma from Mother Caramel's picture being touched in any way, lowering her durability greatly. People under her have noted how they have never seen her get hurt. She was capable of trading blows with Kaido throughout the night and didn't come out with any injuries. As far as we have seen **No one has legitimately broken through her durability except for when Law attacked her from the inside, allowing Kid to break her bones with his attacks... but even then, Damned Punk didn't even do much damage to her, if any** 2) Maser cannon went straight through Ulti's body. It scales above Yamato's feat of KOing Ulti. Had the Maser Cannon hit Ulti in the head, she would've been DEAD. 3) You undersell Kid and Law quite a bit, considering they both could take hits from Kaido as well, not just Big Mom. Big Mom's main issue seems to be that she is extremely rusty both physically and mentally. She should never have been hit by 90% of the attacks that came her way, but because of how complacent she became over DECADES of not having a serious fight, she suffered heavily for it. If she returns (which I think she will), she will get her act together and show everyone once again why she is considered one of the most powerful beings to sail the sea.

The fact that we got the longest backstory in the series for Oda to tell us that Oden is that guy and SO MANY PEOPLE stil put him at Commander level is baffling to me. Like did you even read Wano? Plus 1079 is all the evidence we really need. Kid, after fighting on the rooftop and tanking several hits from BM already, was eating an Ikoku Sovereignty and then fighting an amped Big Mom who couldn’t KO him. Then Shanks comes along and Divine Departure 1 taps that same dude at 100%… the same attack from Roger that Oden face tanked with little damage… and that was PRE VOYAGE ODEN.

Oden is lowkey one of the most disrespected characters in One Piece. If Oden never got distracted by that old witch he would have killed Kaido right there. People seem to believe that after their encounter, Kaido got many times stronger but there is no statement that supports this argument. Kaido also says that he wants to fight someone as strong as Oden even after 20 years so he mustn't have gotten much stronger. I think Kozuki Chadden beats Big Bum simply because he outclasses her in many stats. If she was smart and used Adv CoC from the Jump she could be a problem for Oden but I still give him the win.

I dont like commenting on old videos but you know, algorithm and such, but well, I COMPLETELY DISAGREE! Oden cannot win against Big Mom by the simple idea that Wano Zoro is weaker than Big Mom, and if Zoro, who surpasses oden in Wano, cannot do that, then oden can't. Lets try to break this down. My biggets criticism is that Maser Cannon is essentially a durability negation ability, and it just was aimed at two worst possible targets, first, it literally oneshotted Ulti, She's an ancient zoan and we're repeatedly told that they have higher durability, endurance and recovery, and its that last one what made Ulti continue. the second was when Misery attacked Law, A character who's a walking hax, and to make the situation worse, It's not even clear if it even hurt Misery since he split her perfectly in 2, which similarly to what Zoro did to prometheus, couldnt beat him, its even possible we'll see the 3 homies wandering around wano during Yamato's cover story, Masser Cannon and Fulgora are tremendously powerful attacks that just happened to either miss, or hit characters that are equally or thougher than Oden (I'm sorry but Kidd took about as much of a beating as zoro did). Let me fix the Kaido respect statement for you. For me Oden is like the Castro to Kaido's Hisoka, Oden had the POTENTIAL to overcome him but it was cut short, this is something Kaido did not see in Big mom, which doesn't mean that just because she's in a stationary step of power means that Oden, who is dead and therefor can't improve, is automatically stronger. Maybe Oden vs Lucci, with some luck he can stall lucci for 9 months instead

So the thing about oden vs bigmom for me is that oden got one shotted by a kaido who wasnt using future sight or any of his more powerful stuff, also kaido was massively weak compared to who he is now from what we know at least and I think Bigmom would tank that hit. Also something else is that im pretty sure even Gol d Roger knew Big Mom was strong and i think he talked about this when he took the ponigelph copy. Also kaidos top 5 can be subjective for the strength part because u would have 2 say oden> garp. I think you may have changed my opinion on this matchup. What I will say is that if BM gets her shit together and can use Advanced Conquerors most of the time and well, then I would give the fight to her. ACoc is an overall buff as well in most areas. Maybe I am wrong on that. However, if it just comes down to her not being good at ACoc, then I give it to Oden. People shit on Oden, because he got "one-shot" by Kaido off-guard, but we have seen plenty of times in the series how getting surprised and dropping your guard massively tanks your durability. Look at what happened to Luffy when the CP0 agent showed up and surprised him. Kaido hit Luffy and instantly knocked him out. But if Luffy got hit the same way without getting surprised he would probably remain conscious. I mean Big Mom, who has crazy natural durabillity starts bleeding from her knee if she drops on it, when she is in shock. That's a crazy drop in durabillity.

I have some counterarguments here: Based on feats, Oden here shouldn't even be stronger than Round 3 Luffy, whose Snakeman forced Kaido to finally use future sight. Tbh Oden would win this in 10/10 fights. Big Mom is at a great disadvantage here. For the first her durability doesnt matter much against his swords and his technique. Also his insanely high Haki level and especially the Wano form of Haki, which is penetrating. And her DF powers would be completely useless since Oden is fearless and tbh not the brightest candle out there, which makes him even more fearless. She is pretty much hard countered by him

Personally I would scale Oden to Wano Zoro, maybe a bit above but he’s not yonko level by any stretch. Kaido remembers Oden so highly because he fought Oden when he was much younger and much weaker. Wano kaido to Oden wouldn’t be too much more of a fight than Wano Zoro would be. I see Oden extreme diffing people like king, queen, Zoro, and sanji. He’s high commander level, but not yonko level.

I dont agree with some of the takes in the video, i'd say big mom > oden high-extreme diff And yes law easily cut misery in half, but considering that big mom got muted my law and she was unable to give orders to misery, its obvious that misery becomes pretty weak then. Maser cannon is actually not overrared its wellrated i'd say because maser cannon basically went through ulti's body piercing it, if big mom shot the maser cannon at ulti's head it would have been game over for ulti right there. The only bad thing about big mom is her speed, considering that the 2v1 was hard for her to keep up with and fight, however if big mom used acoc or wasnt just laughing when misery was killing kid, if she helped misery there i'd say kidd would have been dead, and after a while in a 1v1 i think big mom could beat law. And also big mom only used 1 year of her life span to boost herself, what if she used 5 or 10 years? She would have definetly won the 2v1 againts kidd and law. Big mom's battle iq is kinda bad too however it doesnt really matter. Big mom definetly takes endurance and durabity considering she fought kaido toe to toe for 3 days. So i'd say big mom wins high-extreme diff on oden here

It is pretty simple to understand why mihawk being stronger than shanks means nothing. They get that because shanks is a swordsman and mihawk is considered the world's greatest swordsman. However, once looking into it you realize it holds no weight because mihawk refused to challenge shanks after shanks lost his arm to a basic sea king. However, shanks has only gotten stronger since then unless you truly think shanks durability is sea king level fodder. Mihawk has never challenged the current stronger shanks only the last weaker shanks and they were practically equal. So, mihawks title means nothing if he is never challenged by anyone of any relevance to support his current title of worlds greatest swordsman.

@ioane alavidze he won't fight shanks because shanks lost his arm and mihawk as you said has too much pride to fight someone with only one arm but when shanks lost his arm he was weaker than he currently is unless of coarse you believe the shanks who was not even a yonkou yet is stronger than current shanks who is a yonkou. Since mihawk has not fought and refuses to fight the current yonkou shanks there is really no way to say mihawk is stronger than shanks because they have not fought. All you have is a title and that is it. It is no different than a boxer who is considered the world's champ but is nothing but a manufactured champ who never fights anyone of significance or relevance that is basically what mihawk is. Currently besides shanks there are no relevant swordsman for mihawk to fight all the current strongest are not considered swordsman.

Kaido is not way stronger there’s mad evidence to the contrary. He was 39, same age as oden, shanks, Bb and same age as roger garp and ray at god valley. He was also a pirate 4x longer than oden at this point. Kaido was stated to be a “dominant force” on rocks where he was recruited at 15 for being a powerhouse already. He spent 6 years traveling with the then worlds strongest pirates, getting much stronger and developing his haki. By the time of god valley, he had to atleast be around Yc1 level if not above honestly. Rocks only amassed the strongest he could find. Kaido was stated to have become the *embodiment of might* in the 10 years after god valley, indicating the vast majority of his growth was between age 21-31 . He was already nearing prime and this was *8-9 years* before fighting oden. Kaido confirmed he hasn’t had. Serious fight since oden, so again how would he have gotten much stronger? Why would kaido still speak of oden as an equal and group him with roger WB xebec shanks if kaido was “way weaker” then and oden wouldn’t even be a challenge anymore?
