Keep an eye on the 4mm screws under the chassis for the first few runs. As long as you keep them snug, you shouldn't have issues with them pulling out👍.

Now we need an 8s EXB! That thing is a beast! And while it seems like a pile of money, I am in for at least as much with my 6s. Hearing that the 9s is nearly bulletproof makes that initial cost easier to swallow.

@@elsharpos Clipless body design and metal diff housings are really the only things for the K8... Although the K6 needs a complete arm and diff rework... like the Traxxas Sledge. Havent even had one issue with the diffs since owning that truck.

Nice 👍. 6s diffs are $15 on Amazon . They don’t show it in the pictures but they come with the input opinion , bearings and outdrive cups . I was needing outdrive cups and saw the whole diff unassembled for $15 so went that way and ordered a few extra as well for the price . Also , the 4s plastic wheel axels are on sale for $15 a pair . Also, I added the aluminum diff covers and they fit perfect with zero shims using some cheapo allinrc covers . They’ve been tested with a max6 1650kv combo and so far so good . They don’t look as nice as treal , hot racing or vitavon but no shims was a plus . I read it on Amazon comments that all the people were saying no shims were needed so I took a chance and got lucky

Hahha, love the TPU tests! After figuring out how to print TPU I started printing damn near everything out of it. It really is completely indestructible. Any other material would have atomized with even a small hit.

I got both 6S and 8S Arrmas. The 8S feels way more sturdy, also less slop on the arms and wheels. I end up spending more money on the 6S truck to fix and upgrade it.

Yep , the arms come off the pin with a bad crash . Man, if they came with a steel insert around the arm loop set into the plastic would probably send the break to a worse location . I seen dudes use a hose clamp on the rears for broken arms around the hinge pin . Good luck and happy holidays

I bought them both. I get a lot wilder with the 6s, but like the 8s more. I have had my 6s up to 71 mph on gps. BTW I put longer screws in the bulkheads on my 8s.

If I didnt have to put so much bloody time and money into the XRT it would be great, but K8 takes the every day pick. I want to put the XRT and K8s side by side on a moto track to test which one I prefer driving more tho

I bought the Outcast 4S (first car I bought in over decade) I loved it so much I went and bought the Outcast 8S EXB. Now after getting up to speed on all these cars/trucks and the new Lipo ( I used to run nitro) I now realize the 6S trucks, IMO are the agility of the 4S but the brute power of the 8S Big bros. Its a mini 8S on a diet. My next car will be either the Kratron 6S or maybe the Outcast 6S to complkete my series lol. My Mojave 4S comes tomorrow tho lol. Had to! A whole other story on the Mojaves! Thanks for the video and info here bro! I learned alot more now!

How did you upgrade your suspension for the 6S ? My rig is pretty heavy as well. Another question : The 6S now losses power when it turns, it looks like the servo takes all the power, but only going slow, what do I need to upgrade to fix this ?

hmmm sounds like its time for new electronics. Could be the ESC or receiver box... If the servo is faulty, could be unusually drawing power. Start by ruling out each part of the system till you're up and running. My K6 suspension got some M2C upgrades - Mainly the pistons and then fluids. Also, hot racing spring purches

Screws on the bulkhead are too short from the factory. I changed the srews to 25 mm using the same bulkhead and no more problems.
