God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla will be an epilogue to the events of God of War Ragnarök that follows Kratos on a deeply personal and reflective journey.
Set after the decisive battle against Odin and Atreus’ departure, Kratos has seen a path for himself that he never thought possible before. Brought to the mysterious shores of Valhalla accompanied only by Mimir, Kratos will enter its unknown depths to overcome trials within himself and face echoes of his past.
The shore of Valhalla humbles all those who wish to enter. Kratos must cast off his armor and equipment, and instead build towards both per-attempt and permanent rewards.
Kratos will have access to all his weapons and fully-upgraded skill trees at all times, but must commit to a shield and path of Spartan Rage for each attempt. As you overcome the trials of Valhalla and explore its depths, you will make choices between temporary Glyphs for which Stats to upgrade, which Perks to select, which Runic Attacks to wield, and more. Each attempt can play out differently based on the rewards you choose, so keep your strategy in mind when making selections!

Makes sense considering that moment was a quick-time event. QTEs in the GoW series were only for when Kratos was using the absolute height of his strength to accomplish a goal. The Calliope QTE revealed this fact wasn't always physical.

​@@alexanderkamado504 So basically, Mimir tells this story when Kratos and Atreus were in Svartalfheim, as Atreus asked Mimir about the mining rigs he had installed to mine resources. Mimir tells Atreus about his previous exploitation of the dwarves in Svartalfheim. Odin had intended to kill all the dwarves by force to get their resources for Asgard, but Mimir persuaded him to buy their loyalty by lying to them. Mimir's mining rigs contaminated the soil of Svartalfheim, prohibiting the dwarves from cultivating their own food. They were allowed to buy food from Asgard in exchange for working for them. The dwarves loathed Mimir for this since Odin was stealing all of the resources that the dwarves needed. Their sacred weapon-creation abilities were disregarded by Odin since he only cared to mass produce as many weapons as possible for his army, resulting in the dwarves losing a bit of themselves, and the dwarves that tried to shut down the rigs were killed and made examples of if they resisted.

If there is a God of War spinoff (titled "Son of War" would be appropriate), I could honestly imagine Atreus going to Greece, learn all about his father, but not long after meeting Calliope, the Greek world could change and it becomes the Roman pantheon. If it ended with Atreus being captured, it could perfectly set up for Kratos to fight the Roman gods, which were more warlike variations of the Greeks. That could be amazing.

It seems the Norse pantheon, minus Odin and a few that follow him, is really sympathetic to Kratos. You would think that every Gods in every land would deject him as he is a God killer, but they saw and heard his story, found the reason behind the motive, and chose to sympathize with him unlike the Greek Pantheon, who'd used him, and kept him in dark. It was the Greek Gods that created their own monster all out of fear and distrust for Kratos. Like Oogway said, "One often meets his destiny on the road he took to avoid it".

No, he had to push her away to SAVE her. Persephone wished to destroy all of creation, and forced Kratos to make the choice between fighting her to save mankind, or staying with his daughter to the destruction of all. Calliope still dwells in the Fields of Elysium, perhaps not at peace but safe from the whims of spiteful gods.
