So Kraven the Hunter is one of Spider-man's villains and one of the original sinister six, Spider-man's mortal enemies. He's supposed to be a Russian bounty-Hunter like character, so I think that's why people were upset with Aaron's casting. Sony at this point is taking the fall for Marvel studios. It's like Sony is doing bad movies to introduce all spider-man's rogues and enemies, WITHOUT including spider-man but teasing him all over the place. If I were Kevin Feige, I'd be like:" Hey Sony, now that you've introduced Venom, Morbius, Kraven, Rhino,..... Do you want to make a billion dollars movie? Another No Way Home situation? If so, lend me your villains and we'll make them fight Tom Holland's Spider-man for like 2 hours straight, not worrying about introduction and wasting screen time over setting up the tone and intensions, let's have them fight in an action-packed movie and make a fortune for the BOTH of us!!!" Edit: Also, Kraven's brother, I think in the spider-man comics, Kraven has a half-brother which turns out to be Chameleon, another supervillain in marvel comics, so I think the younger brother in the trailer will be Chameleon.

Kraven the hunter is my favorite spiderman villain and what I remember about his origin is that his mother was attacked by a lion and then died in the hospital. Kraven kills the lion and wore his mane as a vest and then becomes the hunter of them all. This is a different take on him, but I love it and Aaron Taylor Johnson is going to be a amazing in this role. Cannot wait to see it.

This looks interesting..An R rated Kraven is the right call. In the comics, Kraven's son became a werelion so I think they are kinda giving Kraven that power in this movie

Sergei Kravinoff aka. Kraven the Hunter is one of Spider-Man's villains or rogues gallery in the Marvel Comics Universe and is an enhanced human due to chemical/magical enhancement which makes him superior to Captain America. In the comics Kraven is Russian, but in the movie, he is an American which is not right. He also has a half-brother named Dmitri Smerdyakov aka. The Chameleon and is one of Spider-Man's villains.

It looks like they've deviated from the comics, at least the comics I remember . They may have revamped Kraven in recent years. He originally didn't have super powers, he was just the ultimate hunter, and he considered Spider Man to be the ultimate prey. He was definitely more of a bad guy than an anti hero type.

@@astrangeviking1742 Peter Parker was always a nerd, and every version of him was bitten by a radioactive spider. Depends on the comic, but Spider man usually has had some level of tech, whether its the web shooters or the suit itself, to adapt to his enemies. but using more or less tech or having powers is different than making a villain an anti-hero. Then again, villains have always been more malleable and subject to change than the heroes themselves.

One thing they're staying true to is Kraven and Chameleon's relationship. I'm wondering if we'll see Dimitri in full Chameleon form by the end of the film or will he end up going against Kraven in the sequel. I like that we're getting the half-brothers dynamic in this. Kraven and Chameleon were always my favorite Spidey villains.

Nah hes always had powers such as heightened strength and speed, which he gets from a plant. Think Black Panther. Now the communicating with animals is new though

Kraven is typically stronger and faster than regular humans, along with heightened perception. Whether that's from a drug, voodoo magic, a certain plant, or just good ole fashioned training has changed multiple times over the years. Like many Spidey villains, he's not a monstrously evil person - he's helped with heroics because of his somewhat weird code of honor - but he's still a hyper violent professional killer

Sounds like the mother was committed to an institution and died there. The dad seems like a mobster kingpin. It looks like lots of fun and the actor looks like a fantastic Kraven. I know the character from the 90s Spiderman animated series.

So the girl is Calypso she's his love interest and a witch, his half brother is another villain of Spider-Man called Chameleon who can change into other ppl, and then it looks like he'll be hunting Rhino another Spider-Man villain. You saw a awful version of Rhino in the end of Amazing Spider-Man 2. That stupid mech suit 😂.

Definitely like Kraven being on the leaner side of muscular, all the best hunters in the wild are on the smaller, more compact side, the bodybuilder equivalents are the herbivores, aka the rhino.

Kraven's brother you see in the trailer eventually becomes Chameleon he can shapeshift into anyone. I do not know if he will in this movie or not or it could be teased at the end who knows.

Kraven wasn’t ever really an anti-hero tbh. In the comics he’s really just a straight villain to Spider-Man though his intentions aren’t necessarily pure evil. He’s a big game hunter so he hunts for the thrill of it really and he sees Spider-Man as the ultimate prey. He also has a fear of spiders which adds to the reasoning on why Spider-Man would be the ultimate trophy. That’s another thing they changed for this movie making him more a protector of animals where as in the comic he hunted animals for the challenge. He also received his powers differently here. In the comic he prolongs his life through a magical elixir

What bugs me about the whole “animal protector” thing that Sony is seemingly doing with him, is that it implies that hunters don’t respect wildlife. HUNTERS respect animals. POACHERS do not. You can hunt AND respect animals. Anyone who says otherwise just simply does not like hunting. So far that’s my only gripe with this version. Powers are changed up all the time nowadays. So while it’s different from the comics, it’s not a change that bothers me.

I believe the boys are right about it being a later scene and not the mom. Crowes beard is white in that scene and has colour during the scenes with the kids. Also kravens brother is the chameleon in the comics, not sure if that's the route the movie will take.

They confirmed Dimitri is Chameleon in this, but we probably won't see him in the gear until probably the end of the film or a post-credits scene since the focus is going to be on Chameleon/Kraven's dad and Rhino.

Less people pay to see it in theaters, signaling to the studio that it's a flop. Then they won't make more movies for fans like you. Not to mention your revealing all this on a REACT channel, where they make money off of genuine reactions. Well, now they know, guess they can fake it, I'm sure it'll be the same. fyi guys in the comics Logan aka wolverine is 5'9" stocky and hairy AF just saying and in the O.G. DC comics Superman wasn't buff at all it's part of how he was able to be Clark his physical power didn't really come from his muscles as much as his reaction to earths sun.

One thing I like about this movie is that they show the dad taking his sons to shoot a lion which is some thing which people do it’s a form of trophy hunting there’s even a whole organization where you can pay to have lions and other endangered predator animals brought out to the savanna or places in cages where are you then you can shoot them and hunt them in sick disgusting people think that it’s OK

Kraven is usually only interesting when spider-man is involved. So I’m interested in how they do him without. He his a trophy hunter,always looking to get the apex predator, and Spider-Man is the one he can just never catch. Also his brother is known as the chameleon, one of Spider-Man’s first villains! He can pretty much shape shift into anyone. I’m pretty excited for the r rating, and hoping it doesn’t turn into another Morbius🤐

i'm not gonna say this has morbius vibes but i mean, it has morbius vibes down to the exact same desaturated palette and the random shirtless shot. sony doesn't seem like they know how to make lesser known characters great in live action. so with these villains they're just not interesting without spiderman. they look like movies from 2014 when everyone was still trying to cash in on the MCU's success.

They are 3 things that makes this trailer so bad 1) He doesn't have a Russian accent 2) How he get his powers from a radioactive lion or lion's blood and he suppose to drink a potion made by Calypso the voodoo sorceress 3) Maybe, the movie will have some bad dialogue and I think the trailer is good but I don't trust Sony to make Marvel stuff.
