No you need 2 revolution or more you can use double pitch size rack or larger

@@CALearnings My project is speed breaker power generation using rack pinion mechanism , when the vehicle passes over the speed breaker the rack moves downwar then the pinion rotate . The vehicle weight is 15690 N and the rack move downward 100 mm . How to determine the dimension of rack and pinion and the nb of teeth and pitch ?

Soo you cant draw the spur gear and the rack yourself. Everyone can do Assembling. Show us how to realy draw the parts and stop inserting them
