I would have loved to see a saturated color used somewhere in the space! Since your floor is light and so is your rug and furniture, they have an appearance of "floating". A deeper color somewhere would anchor the furniture more. You should pull from nature outside your windows to pull the entire look together! An antique piece here and there would also make it feel lived in, as having all new pieces can start to look like a showroom display. I hope that makes sense! You have a beautiful home, I look forward to watching you transform your spaces 😊

What a wonderful reimagining of the room. I’m glad you painted the walls but left the ceiling natural wood. The white brightens it up. The wood fits it into the forested surroundings. The “Teddy bear” chairs and the chandelier are my favourite elements. The chandelier is perfect - bold in size but with light airy arms.
