If our country was a monarchy, I’d want her as our Queen.

She deserves every award she’s ever been nominated for. Her humility is something that isn’t seen as much in Hollywood now days.

There is absolutely no one better to pick to pay homage to the great Julie Andrews than Kristen Chenoweth!
@Jessi4JC13 жыл бұрын
She is beyond believable. And her heart is as beautiful as her voice. Def the reigning queen of Broadway! Look how delighted Julie Andrews. Now THAT is the ultimate compliment. :)

I love Kristin, but she's definitely not the reigning Queen of Broadway when Audra McDonald and her record-breaking six Tony wins exist.

I love how Julie Andrews is ecstatic and so happy to see this happen and she looks genuinely happy. (Unlike Barbra Streisand who during Idina Menzel's "Don't Rain on My Parade" looked bored and totally unimpressed)
@onemercilessming13427 жыл бұрын
Pauly-Walnuts--Barbra Streisand has been in love with herself for decades. She's forgotten that she wasn't always a diva (I remember when she was barely known) and she is rude and obnoxious to boot.

Kristen is a better singer than Idina.

I don't agree, sorry. I think Julie Andrews has a very false smile. I'm British and think Julie Andrews is far too sugary sweet. At least Barbra is honest as always.

I’m English and I think it’s well know that Julie Andrews is very down to earth and if she doesn’t like something she will say so. So I feel she is enjoying this performance.

Just watch the tribute by Beyonce singing the way we were... Barbra is more responsive and she is clearly very impressed with Beyonce's rendtition. Idina isn't a very good singer in my opinion

I clicked for Kristin (as I am prone to do) but seeing Robert Goulet at the close was a rare nostalgic bonus. I'd wager that I am among the few who still remembers Mr Goulet peddling cigarettes on Canadian TV... "It's Robert Goulet for DuMaurier"

Why has Kristen Chenoworth not been picked for a Disney movie by now

FUN FACT: She was originally cast to voice Rapunzel in what would then be known as "Tangled", but then that went to Mandy Moore.

Well, she was in Disney's version of Annie. And if we're counting non-singing roles, she was the voice of Rosetta of the Disney fairies.

I see two queens 😍 Julie Andrews is such an amazing person, her reactions to Kristin are much more humble and kind than Barbra Streisand’s to Idina. Maybe it’s just me that thinks this but Julie Andrews is an amazing person while Barbra Streisand is rather self absorbed…

Kristin will be singing well into her 60's as a result of excellent vocal training and health. she sang this better than julie ever did that's for sure - and in a higher key so as to avoid singing in the "break." Julie came from a time when natural talent was all it took. As a result, she sang "hard" on her voice and her career ended prematurely with a vocal nodule surgery gone wrong. If you wanna sing like this and make it a career, you simply must be Classically Trained!
@thekingofmoney20006 жыл бұрын
ohmusicsweetmusic Julie was also classically trained in England.
@EmbodimentofAMiracle19986 жыл бұрын
The reason why Julie sung it different is because Kirsten is a opera singer and Julie an broadway/musical singer so she used here voice different
@Ihdc15 жыл бұрын
Julie was classically trained and performed well into her 60s until a botched surgery took her voice. She rarely used her true classical voice as an adult but was classically trained none the less and one of the greatest voices of all time.
