Great travel hack tips. I would like to add that when I travel by jet or train I use a ShouldIt zippered pouch scarf around my neck that holds my medications, face wipes, lip gloss and phone so they are always on my body and within reach. Also, I carry a zippered pillowcase in my coat pocket and use it to stash my coat which keeps it clean and can be used as a pillow. Also use a neck pouch for IDs, passport, tickets and mini pen. All these items do not count as carry on or personal items and keep my essentials clean and close.

Maureen Tremain oooh nice! I won a scarf like that at a school fundraiser, it was really pretty and after I won it I realized it has that zippered pouch in it, I was so excited lol!! I like your tip about the zippered pillowcase!

Genius idea about the pillowcase! I could sew one with a button closure easily. Thanks for that! I’m traveling in Europe and taking EasyJet for a leg (I know 😬😂😳). A pillow would be really nice and since I won’t have anywhere to stow a coat …

I have 2 Barefoot Dreams Cardigans that my brother has given me , I love them and wear them all the time , they go with everything and are so comfortable. I've been using the Bent bag now for a couple of weeks. It replaced a backpack that was too big, yet not spacious enough. I love it. It fits under the seat along with my CPAP bag easily. It has more space than my backpack as well. Just a tip. I usually unzip the middle compartment and send it thru the X-ray open faced to not have it need extra processing

I always use a small Longchamp bag as my handbag in the airport. Right before we board, I empty it out into my backpack and fold it up to put into my backpack. That way, I can have a handbag while we're in the airport, since it helps me keep track of my wallet. Lost it once at the airport in college and now I'm paranoid!

When flying anywhere outside the US, be careful to check weight limits. Australia and Asia adhere to strictly enforced 7kg weight limits for carry on items. The bag in the video is 1.3kg. That is nearly 20% of what you can carry on before you put one item inside the bag. And this is pretty light for carry on bags. Most are MUCH heavier.
@Shivanah4 жыл бұрын
Didn’t she say the bag can be used for a personal item bag
@jeffone4 жыл бұрын
@@Shivanah Yes I think so. I wanted to note that on flights in Asia and Australia you get ONE bag under 7kg. So anything else must be checked.

My underseat bag fits way more than the bento, it has wheels, and is stackable on any other piece in set. It’s the Delsey Hyperglide rolling tote, it can be purchased separately or in a nesting set. I can pack a 3 day weekend of clothes into it. Too many dividers on the interior like the bento take up space, and allows for less content to be packed in.

I have a Delsey underseat soft case with wheels. It was perfect for our 4 week trip to the U.K. and France last April. My personal item is just my everyday A4 size over the shoulder bag. Nothing bulky or heavy to lug around. No checked luggage for me since almost missing my plane back in 2001. Really like your liquids bag. Nice and compact to fit in travel size products.

What does anyone think of zipper compression packing cubes? Do they work? I like the idea of charging on a pad that acts like a stand.
@tuyetcong-ton-nu13882 жыл бұрын
Would you suggest a way to protect the Bento bag since it is put under the seat in front and can pick up a lot of germs from the floor? Is there a cover or something to wrap the side that is touching the carpet? Also, I usually pack some food and one advantage of a large tote with a zipper is that I can store the food containers in the tote bag and it can accommodate different sizes of food containers. Because the Bento bag is more like a suitcase, there isn't that flexibility of using different sizes. I also store the tote tab vertically underneath the seat so that the food stays vertical. I wonder if the Bento bag would slide underneath vertically to fit? Thanks for your videos. I am learning a lot from your tips.

Ryan Air, and other EU budget air lines only allow ONE carry on item. That means a purse or messenger bag has to go in your bigger bag, or you have to pay extra for it. I think Ryan air charges around $40 US.
