You know Kronk isn’t really a bad guy. He sure did get caught up in some nasty folk, quite a few times, but at the end of the day he has a heart of gold and truly puts his friends first. I mean how bad could the guy be when he’s teaching me squirrel for free.

Kronk's dad just shows and proves that not all parents love their kids unconditionally. He didn't appreciate the talent or the interests that Kronk had as a child, and that's a message that all parents need to know. We aren't always going to come out the way they want us to, and we are unique individuals who should be appreciated for who we are, not for what we can't do or who we aren't. Kronk, you're the best character. Great video Wotso!!

Kronk's dad does love him, he just has unrealistic expectations for his son. He wasn't proud of his son at first, but he wouldn't have come to visit him if he didn't love him. If he didn't love him, he would have ignored him and not cared what kind of hobbies Kronk had.

I think Kronk looks like he used to be one of Kuzco's body guards that have their bodies painted. They all have the same body shape and maybe that is how he originally met izma.

Poor Kronk! He had a tough childhood but I think he turned out very nice. Don't know how he got his job working with the evil lady. I love how he talks to his angel and devil and instead of being evil he is a great guy. it would have been better if the Emperor's new Groove movie was more about Kronk instead.

Even back when I was 7 years old, and The Emperor's New Groove was the newest Disney movie, I could tell that Kronk was a muscle-headed rube but not a bad guy (not like Gaston, Thor, or Thanos). "One big facepalm" or "walking comedy" as David Spade and the animators illustrated him as in his introduction.

There's tiny details that make it clear it takes place after. For example, in the show Kuzco already knows Yzma is evil and out to destroy him, in the movie he spends the first act trusting her. And Kuzco and Pacha already know each other, where in the movie they meet for the first time. That and they directly reference scenes from the movie, like when Yzma turned into a cat.

@Wotso Videos Did u know that The Emperor's New Groove was originally going to be called Kingdom of the Sun? The plot was going to be about an emperor named Manco (David Spade) who switches places with Pacha (Owen Wilson) because they look alike, like in the Prince and the Pauper. However the evil sorceress Yzma (Eartha Kitt) plans to summon a God called Supai to fill the world with darkness so she can stop wrinkling. She turns Manco into a llama that doesn't talk and blackmails Pacha into doing her bidding. Sting wrote several songs for the film, one of them being "Snuff out the Light" which are available on the soundtrack album. The film was to be directed by Roger Allers. The result wasn't good so they hired Mark Dindal to direct, removed Owen Wilson, the Prince and the Pauper story and all of Sting's songs except "My Funny Friend and Me." Andreas Deja felt the changes to the film would make it a disaster and moved to Florida to animate Lilo for Lilo and Stitch. U can find footage of Eartha Kitt singing "Snuff Out the Light" on KZbin, just search Recording Session with Eartha Kitt.

To clarify to anyone that doesn't know this or haven't figured it out yet Kuzco Academy is not a High School it's a Campus College because most of the teachers wear old fashioned graduation gowns and hats. The only reason why they call things like Principal instead of Head Master or Head Mistress, and why the teachers aren't called: "Professor" is that the Emperor's New School was targeted to a younger demographic of people, and why Kronk being in his thirties maybe as mentioned in the The Emperor's New Groove by Kuzco and Ezma could attend Kuzco Academy. Making Kuzco by this point in his younger twenties and Malina also too because Ezma was trying to first kill Kuzco on his eighteenth Birthday.

Idk why but I always thought the show took place between the first movie and Kronks new groove. Probably cause of the lack of mentions of birdwell + kronk lives with his dad (for some reason) Also because for the majority of the series kuzco is still kinda mean despite being super nice in kronk’s new groove
