Здравствуйте! Ну я бы не назвал ее сильно надежным аппаратом, по скольку возраст у нее не малый то и проблем с ней возрастает. Сперва стоит проверить термоблок на протечки, в ней стоит старый тип термоблоков, которые состоят из двух половинок, так вот они олбязательно будут подтекать, и если не уследить то коррозия пойдет и по корпусу группы и внутри все шасси будет ржаветь. Клапана аварийного у нее нету по этому все давление будет идти в группу, что не очень хорошо. Далее самая неприятная проблема это пластиковая группа и хрупкий уплотнитель, у некоторых изнашивается пластик группы и потом рожок не плотно прилегает к уплотнителю и могут быть как протечки так и выталкивание рожка из группы. Ну и ко всему прочему самый неудобный стиммер а точнее насадка, но это можно и поменять на саенковскую панарелло. Дизайн корпуса мне лично нравится и рохок хорош, но в остальном недолговечная конструкция. Когда то я в такой менял термоблок на термокоил, и ставил ОПВ для простого сита(на али находил), то владелец очень был доволен, но через 3 года он в разогретую вставил криво рожок и повредил направляющие(пластик), искали донора на замену ибо запчасти не продаются. В ней все китайское, начиная от стандарта до разработки(. Главное не брать модель 4050, там она еще ненадежнее.

Ухаживаю бережно ,готовлю только сам ни кому не доверяю, ну насколько хватит её буду пользовать , в будущем хотел делонги, даже друзей подсадил на кофе приходят в гости просят что бы приготовил. Насадка капучинатора немного другая не как на видео с втулкой...Ну вообще пока в восторге от Krupp's...,💪💪💪🤝🤝🤝🔥🔥🔥🤗🤗🤗👍👍👍

Biena maquina, pero el que hace el o la que calienta la leche no sabe espumarlo. Deve dejar salir las pequeñas burbujas de agua del vapor en repetidas ocaciones y luego ya se le mete al frasco de leche tocando ligeramente la superficie de la leche y sumergiendolo ligeramente hasta wue suba rapido la espuma, luego se mete dentro de la leche la punta de vapor ya solo para acelerar la tempelratura de la leche y listo

Thanks for the video. I was just given a used machine, this exact model number. Is it necessary to keep a little water in the tank for the steam when frothing? One more question. What is the knob setting for on the far left? It is for rinsing the machine for cleaning?

Thanks for watching! I guess you liked it )) This is not bad model but it has some problems: - the gasket of the thermoblock after few years of using became leak - the thermoblock has old construction and it can fill by calc, so you need sometimes make decalc procedure - because of old thermoblock you might have weak steam - non-ergonomic steam nozzle, my piece of advice is change it for saeco's panarello, that get you better foam. - the brewing group made on the plastic body and after some time it has deterioration of plastic. Group with the portafilter will start leaking but changing the group gascket wont give result. Repairing of the group takes changing whole of group plastic body, it may be expensive and unreal because this is too old model. Temporaly fixing this situation, if you have it, can be in adding hard paper gascket under original one. - also this model has poor electronics, sometimes semistor is breaking down and you need replace it. Maybe it's all you need to know about this unit. Also I strongly recomend make service maintenance because a lot of gasckets and o-rings needs to be replaced. About your questions: - yes water always must be in water tank. when you use steam the pump is pumping dose of water from the tank throu the thermoblock. - the far left knob is steam function. The first left position it is heating up to 140 degrees for steam. Second left position is turn on the steam. This machine doesen't has self-test or self-cleaning function. I have a similar Krupps model. When I clean the steam wand I screw tight the wand to the steam head. The tiny port hole occassionally misalligns ---moves away from the wand. With no flow through of steam I then guess the wand is clogged with milk when it is not clogged. It is easy to reallign the hole because the wand can come off and go back on again. My screw has a big slot so the back of a knife can fit and turn it. My steam head is a brass metal with the port hole on the side exactly where the steam wand should allign. I will not use plumber's teflon tape to keep the screw tighter because I am guess it might melt with the heated steam exhausted by the espresso maker.

May be You shouldn't take off the steam wand too often. If the tip hole is clogged with milk, you can clean it with a needle. You can use teflon plumbing tape, it can withstand temperatures of over 200 degrees Celsius and the coffee maker warms up to a maximum of 140 degrees. Are you from Canada?

This can be a problem with mechanical valve, that managed with the main switcher. I recommend you make descaling first. May be the scale got inside of the valve.

Am I the only one with plastic/metalic taste of steam ? I have an original milk wand (it also smells like cheap plastic but after good cleaning it is fine). I use filtered water and also coffee alone is fine and has normal taste.

If you mean "why was removed part of panarello" that was because I prefer to do it just by nozzle. But if you asking about removing original steam nozzle that was did because original one was broken. And I've changed it to Saeco panarello for getting best result and comfort.

Sí, quito parte de la boquilla cappuccinator. Para batir la espuma con una boquilla. Puse un cappuccinator de Saeko en esta máquina de café. Es mejor y más conveniente que el cappuccinador nativo.

Bad things happens. That's means that triac, which manage the pump in your machine has broke. You should bring your machine to service centre for fixing. Sorry for long time of my answer.
