The fact that before fighting Jake Tommy used to fight at 175 but is now refusing to cut to below 183 for this fight tells me his discipline levels have already slipped massively. I personally believe its a mismatch and Tommy will destroy KSI without a doubt. We are scrambling to hold on to what KSI has going for him with his unorthodox explosive punches and heart. But the seasonality of Tommy Fury will come on top in the end and Tommy knows it, way more confident now. You’re banking on what ifs and him crumbling under pressure. i think both of them cover their weaknesses pretty well, ksi likes to throw the overhand right often and it's something that tommy is often hit by as he leaves his chin open and squares up when a person approaches. For tommy he's got a great jab > right straight which is something he'll be able to land safely with his long arms. between the two though I think this leans strongly towards tommy as he can land that more often and more easily against the inexperienced ksi. but of course ksi could crack his chin which would have to be his hope since on points this would be decisive for tommy

All KSI's opponents have been small men and they have done a good job in taking KSI's right hand, he needed his elbow last time don't forget, that wasn't his right hand. My worry is that this fight will be like the start of KSI v Logan 1. Logan was dominating with the jab and KSI didn’t have a way around it. Tommy's bread and butter is fighting on the back foot and outside. KSI also likes to fight on the outside (sort of). Meaning that KSI won't move until he see's an opening and Tommy will not go foward. This fight won't be explosive as we think, maybe round 2 or 3 when KSI learns that you can't pressure Tommy. My decision is Tommy by Decision. The first two round will be enough to score points in KSI.

With some points i can agree. What I've seen from KSI he is very unorthodox and is fast. The problem is though. He knows this is a big jump. You could hear in his voice in the face off that he was very nervous. On the outside he is trying to be confident and talked a big game and on the inside he is terrified. Tommy has the experience, the size advantage and is technically superior. If i had to bet the house on someone I'd go with Tommy. I think KSI will get ko'd probably

He utilises his fundamentals better than KSI does and that shows in his finishes. KSI has raw power that has been fairly devastating, Jake sets his shots up with better overall technique and so the finish comes to him via different means. They aren't small guys and they've been training strictly boxing for a fair while now... I'd imagine they've both got decent power 😂

I think that KSI absolutely will be more of a challenge for Tommy than Jake within the first 3 rounds of the fight. Jake tried to do the very thing he wasn't supposed to do, which was to outbox him. JJ is entering this fight with the perfect gameplan of trying to knock the guy out. But if Tommy stays switched on throughout the beginning of the fight, I don't see JJ having success.

He’s only been boxing for 4 years and his technique is scrappy but again only been boxing for few years, and his whole gameplan is to go for the ko, to come with pressure, and the make it a scrappy fight. With that style of fighting, it’s almost impossible to be technical and a traditional boxer. Also he’s used his scrappy style to his advantage and is unpredictable, that’s why he’s training in the mma gym. But people ignore this and say he sucks because 1 everyone else says he sucks, and 2 because his style isn’t traditional

straight punches always beats looping punches. I can easily see jj plan being his downfall trying to enter range especially with the lack of defence. Also an issue is tommy is going to be possibly 30 pounds heavier other than heavyweights you don’t see them getting slept by men that much smaller than them, especially tommy is younger with a great chin. Tbh if it was closer in weight maybe even someone like idris virgo there is a higher possibility.

Tommy is still a very young fighter, KSI will be good experience for him to fight someone who's going to go out fast and throw wilder punches so it's by no means a slam dunk for Tommy there is always a risk with guys like KSI, but if Tommy keeps his head and picks his shots I really don't think KSI will stand a chance to be honest.
