Most likely because you were on an old legacy plan and part of the merger agreements between sprint and T-Mobile if they got approved was that they would not raise prices on old legacy plans for sprint or T-Mobile customers until four years after the murder so unless you’re on one of their current go 5G plans they can legally raise rates on old legacy grandfather plans because that was part of the merger agreements

Why you have a certain length price lock guarantee like 4 years if you need to raise prices you do after 4 years if you don’t you leave the plan in place. I’m behind the consumer’s on this one. I suggest a unlocked phone and try out pre-paid plans once you find a network that meet your needs transfer your number and sign up for a new plan with either new phones or keep existing if yours are unlocked.

How about EOS fitness? They raised my rates this year by 4 bucks a month even though I literally pay an annual fee to lock in the price... and they are still offering low prices for new customers.
