reg the time warp: nowadays (with the 1.12 updates in 2021) the alarm clock/timer widget is built into the game, so you can set up your manoeuvrers, jump to the tracking station, set up an alarm for SOI change or the next manoeuvrer, and then let the game run at max warp till the timer goes off. As long as you monitor from the tracking station you can warp at full speed no matter the height of the orbit. All the warp mod does is enable this feature in the normal map view, which is still practical since you don't have to deal with the atrocious loading times, but it's not essential by any means

Dumb question first - for the Nuclear Engines, the liquid fuel was in the 'columns' from the airplane parts (I think - the ones that just have liquid fuel, no oxidizer). However, I didn't see any fuel lines - does having the columns with the 4 engines merely touching the center column and the other fuel supplies serve to allow automated fule sharing? Sorry if it was answered/explained earlier in the series and I didn't remember it. Flat spaces to land on are very good - especially if the first spot was stable when you landed, but the motion of a Kerbal EVA'ing from it sets it sliding down the slope, your Kerbal clinging onto the ladder for dear life.

Dear Matt, when you want to cook a steak, NEVER ADD SALT BEFORE IT'S COOKED!!!!! The steak will be hard if you salt it before cooking! Also grind pepper right onto the meat after cooking, it tastes better!
@peterpala23665 жыл бұрын
Tomek Styn no. Just no. You obviously don’t know how to cook. So stop. You add salt to dry out the exterior and get a better crust and colour. Also, salt is a flavour enhancer, so it add to the ground pepper and olive oil you also dress it with 30 minutes before cooking.
@tombuster5 жыл бұрын
@@peterpala2366 I do know how to cook, I know that you dress it, but not with salt, rather use herbs like rosemary or sth! It doesn't make it any better for crustiness etc. if you know how to prepare it! Also it sucks out juices from the meat which gives it the unique taste, and if you want better crust and keep the juices, simply use that thingy called a blowtorch. Really. Just blast the meat before putting it in the pan to keep the meat juice from getting out, Obviously! Also you don't want to dry the meat! Just no! So stop! You can add pepper and salt AFTER frying the meat as I mentioned, which gives an even better flavour, because it's ground fresh right onto the meat not leaving any of the rich flavours in the pan!
@peterpala23665 жыл бұрын
@@tombusterStyn how dare you put herbs on a steak. that's just wrong. only 3 things should go when cooking a steak. salt, pepper and olive oil. IF your feeling fancy you might baste with butter and garlic. BTW who the fuck wants to bite into raw pepper and salt when eating a steak? that's fucking gross man. BTW putting raw salt onto a steak would actually dry it out more than putting it on beforehand. If you don't care what I say, fine. Listen to EVERY CHEF EVER!!! Gordon Ramsay, uses the exact method I just described. Binging with Babish uses it. Jesus christ man, I hope you don't cook for anyone apart from yourself.

@tombuster5 жыл бұрын
@@peterpala2366 good luck with that logic man. You said you add salt to dry the meat out for crustiness, but then say that salt when added after dries the meat out, like honestly, make up your mind! You can just put some herbs onto the steak for some time so the meat can catch the flavour and aroma, ever tried that? It really is that simple. Also raw salt??? What do you even mean! Ever heard of ground pepper and salt, and how in a restaurant they add it AFTER the steak was cooked, right on the meat that's on a plate in front of you. Having to explain such simple things really makes me wonder why did you even call me out in the first place! I'm not native to English, and I'm not familiar with such specific terminology as flambe torch. If you don't like that option, you can always toss the steak onto a really hot pan to get the same exact result, and a way better tasting meat than just putting salt on the raw meat and letting it sit and dry. That's how you make stuff like serrano ham or other dried meats. When you grind pepper, it's not raw, you won't get a disease or sth, it gives out a fresh aroma. If you don't like it, just skip adding it in the first place! Just try preparing a steak like this once, and you'll never want to go back to your methods! It's that simple. Also you make it very obvious that YOU don't know what you're talking about. Just try to educate yourself on the topic before calling somebody out and trying to act like a world class chef, please. I don't really care about your complaints, I just try to give advice to Matt, who can improve their steak techniques by adding salt after cooking! Please make up your mind and read what you wrote earlier before complaining further! Just try to make sense next time :D
