Do you compare stock+fuel dongle or plain stock in the Dyno charts? It would be interesting to see what a fuel dongle+exhaust only could do, without even a filter.

Thanks pal. Appreciate it. Just like the flash unit they sell you just tell them what mods you’ve done. I.e. exhaust, air box etc and they write a map for you.

Dropping a drive tooth makes it more responsive too, still gives 120 plus on top end.

Hi Croatia 😁. Yes very much so. It came up just on power several times in the video but trying to be good I made sure it wasn’t all published lol. Anyway I’m no expert at wheelies so nothing special to see 😉😁

is remap require if i only install wings slip on ? cause I don’t know will the slip on make the bike too lean and damage it, where i live there is no dyno service available :(((

Hi. Yes the bike will run lean. It runs lean with the factory exhaust so more so with an after market one. @bhp_uk do a hand held unit that you can flash yourself. @@FiggTreeCompany I don’t think you can. But what they do is a hand held flash unit and you can flash their map direct to your ECU so No need for a power commander.

So how much did the dyno cost? I have Wings & fuel dongle, stock filter & I think it runs fantastic. These bikes need to be run on the rev limit in each gear to get the best out of them. The quick shifter is a electronic on/off option set by a tick on a diagnostic computer. Glad you enjoy your bike.

Full dyno and map is £450. I had the same set up as you and was happy ish with it. But I wanted to get rid of the dongle and have the right mapping. I know the shifter is electronic but it just seems to shift easier. Like I said in the vid it may well be physiological. Either way I’m as happy as a pig in 💩🤣

Good video, seems impressive. Living in N Ireland my only option would be via post. Forgive my ignorance but will the map they send me be as good as one I’d get if my bike was at their place and put on their dyno? Cheers

Great question and not ignorant at all. To be totally honest I really don’t know. It depends on what mods you have. They tried 2 maps on mine which according to the dyno weren’t that different but on the road I felt a difference so reverted back to the first map they put on. Your best bet is to call or message them. You could also buy the hand held flash unit. You download your currant map to them, tell them your mods and they send a map for that. If you’re not happy tell them what your issue is and they can try and amend it. The benefit of the hand held unit is you can always flash back to factory if your bikes under warranty and then reflash the custom map back on after.

Thanks bud. Oh yes the SDR has always been planned to get mapped. It would have been done first but I figured the 690 was in more need. I’m looking at maybe a couple of months for the 1290. Depends on when and how surgery goes on my knee.

It’s the NHS mate so who knows when lol. Earliest I’ve been told is August. Recovery time according to the book is 6-8 weeks.
