@The.JZA. Жыл бұрын
Dunno if anyone has said it yet but the ByBre brakes are "By Brembo" so they're still very good quality, just not as expensive or fancy as propert Brembos but for a cheaper bike, they still perform well. You can easily get the rear wheel off the ground if you pull the lever hard enough. Also the exhaust can be easily modified by core drilling out the silencer. It has a pretty nice sound without the silencer.

I've been driving for 15 years and getting on a bike is a whole new ball game. Had the bike a week and on the odd ride I've had in the dry it's lovely and stable. Riding at night in horizontal rain on rural roads is a baptism of fire

The brakes on this are in-house brembo designed parts, ktm save some money somehow by stating Bybre (By brembo)
@EvolutionMotovlogs6 жыл бұрын
Ah, I see - interesting to know! :)
@Kaceex6 жыл бұрын
personally I would like to see well known brand parts on the motorcycle; hydraulic brake design isn't a secret anymore, it's the manufacturer that count, I'm sure ByBre will work just fine but I would prefer something like Nissin (for example)
@louisgordon43886 жыл бұрын
Bybre is brembo, just their budget range.
@FPSKelly2 жыл бұрын
Haven’t seen any other comments call this out, but Bybre (the brake manufacturer here) is Brembo - it’s just their lower spec subsidiary for cheaper bikes. Bybre = By Brembo

this bike is slightly over the A2 license, ive heard the bike dealer can limit the bike via software is that possible?
@Neontrifle5 жыл бұрын
Yep! There are so many riding this on A2 due to bad You Tube advice, this means insurance would be invalid and I spoke to a cop who knows this. Its the power to wieght ratio. KTM..always original
@hphenry5 жыл бұрын
It's actually the pre 2016 Duke that's not A2 compliant. Due to ABS and other things, the newer bikes weigh more with the same power - which makes them legal to ride.

May I suggest a pointer with the cinematography? (I think that’s the right word). With your sweeping shots at the beginning, slow them down if you can. Whether that’s manually doing it slower or slowing down the footage. And try to eliminate shake cause it’s fairly obvious. Slowing down footage through an editor is gonna help with that
@EvolutionMotovlogs6 жыл бұрын
For sure pal, I agree! I need to purchase some stabilisation equipment for those smooth shots :)

@EvolutionMotovlogs6 жыл бұрын

Don’t need a full licence? I beg to differ. A FULL A2 license is needed. Still need to have cracked your Module 1 and 2 as well as your Theory 👍🏻
@EvolutionMotovlogs6 жыл бұрын
Very true, probably my lack of explanation on my terminology - you do require your A2 License which I refer to as 'restricted' (albeit, it's a full license as no L plates, motorway access, pillions etc). Where as the 'A' license is a full license, no restrictions or power limitations.
@kenichisan886 жыл бұрын
I understand it's a loan bike, but too bad you didn't get a 690 Duke (A2 restricted). Would maybe be a better comparison against the MT-07 ? I get that in theory an A2 compliant bike has lower kW/HP compared to it's "normal" version - (thinking off 690 Duke /MT07), but actually driving them, what changes? - acceleration? / torque? / top speed?
@EvolutionMotovlogs6 жыл бұрын
I agree, the 690/790 would've been a far better comparison! The 390 was certainly a fun snappy ride, but I'd prefer two cylinders of torque any day of the week.

Evolution which bike is better mt 125 or duke 125 please help me

They're both similar when it comes to riding style and performance. I prefer the MT-125 overall but, the KTM looks very unique and the latest model has some wicked electronics (screen, backlights etc)

What would you say the average amount of money you would pay for insurance on a 125cc bike would be
@EvolutionMotovlogs6 жыл бұрын
Too many variables to answer that one! Location, experience, age, employment, type of cover etc. My insurance has varied from £300-£1000 through out the years depending on the motorcycle and type of cover. Very hard to gauge though; run a quote online! :)

The Duke 390 fails the A2 licence restrictions and should be restricted due to power to wieght ratios. A lot are riding with invalid insurance........cops know this aswell.

Whats it like compare to MT07 performace ?
@EvolutionMotovlogs6 жыл бұрын
Single Cylinder 390cc vs Two Cylinder 700cc (approx). I love the torque you get from the MT07 and it has FAR more potential when un-restricted. I'd 100% favour the MT07 any day but it's a bit of an unfair comparison. The Duke 790 vs MT07 would be interesting however.

5.53 ktm claim that the 20q7 ktm duke 125 is 137kg dry. The 2017 390 is 139 kg (306 lb) dry, that is impressive, again that's what Ktm claim.
