Yes, tuff love on that kick starter shaft sequence of installation etc. It does help to find some procedure pages from the manufacturer especially when working with small and long bolts, aluminum, seals, bearings etc. Not a lot of room for mistakes on those motorcycle/ATV's. Might be a good project to prepare for and do some micro welding on that right case. Thanks rider for sharing, even the mistakes of the real world.

Watch out for the o ring on that small aluminum sleeve by the oil fill that will pour coolant in too. And when you do the stroker get that crank balanced and welded! The hot rods are known to come out of true with big bored

Justin, i see you are enjoying your new Mac 1/4 impact driver. Who make the impact extension you are using? it looks like it has a 1/4 male fitting on the driver side, and it also has a 1/4 male end to fit a socket. Cant find it on the Mac site.

You can usually use snap ring pliers to split the case if you do it where the flat area is.

Use a rubber mallet on the case to get them apart so you dont f them up or just have me come fix them for you😜

Damn, my first thought after seeing you rip it was how long the gears were, then you mentioned it haha. That's a crf450 engine in it right? surprised the gears are so long on a mx bike

Sprockets. Needs bigger rear sprocket and or smaller front one. On mx bikes they have massive rear sprockets and tiny front ones. Its a easy change on quad if parts are available to buy.

@@reggiexp69 I'm well aware of sprockets lol. But it's a crf450. It has extremely short gears. I would assume drastically changing the gearing would lead to it having no low end. Obviously not the case with Justin's bike.

@@dirtbagian not really, 4 stroke still got low end :) my 450cc quad has a massive 44 tooth at the rear. and a 14 in the front and the gears are still to long for racing i mean it goes 130kmh but in forest in 1st gear it keeps wanna shut of cause to low rpms... so i put a 13 in front sprocket top speed went down to 118kmh but it wont stall in 1st now i can ride slow without needing ot use the clutch all the time. while my adly 300 (honda trx300ex) quad has like a front 13 and rear 36 and still wheelie in 1st gear without any clutch. i dont really thing the gear boxes are that different on motor bikes and quads, its are the height of the wheels and sprocket who change alot.. a bike has 18" rear and have massive rear sprocket cause it has a large wheel, but quads have smaller wheels so smaller sprockets compared to bikes. quads have usual smaller then 44 tooth rear while motor bikes have like 50++ then again im no expert just what i tought, from using bikes and quads at the end the gear ratios are often the same. ow and dont forget bikes weight less then a quad and have small 2 wheels while quads have massive 4 wheels

I mean doesn't really mather if you want shorter just change sprockets. But if its a motor bike engine gearing probably not made for a quad
