IDK if they can get enough market share to cover expense of development and backing of a truly wonderful and reliable model at a competitive price....here is hoping though! I did own a 2020 KTM for not very many miles I did not trust it and sure enough it let me down via the strange material used to make fuel tank/subframe which cracked wide open...luckily it had to be be covered because part of smog but how can I trust it after that? Fuel leaking onto rear tire is overly worrisome sorry.....what other things has this company gambled on?

Considering that all brands are downsizing all the superbikes, I don't think that would happened, but we can dream. I have a RC8R with suspension, brakes, engine and electronics of a 1290 Super Duke R and it is a beast.

Had all sorts of bike during my life. Had even 2-stroke Cagiva Mito when I was 16 years old. Had a Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha, and a Harley. Recently I got a KTM Duke. That bike left me breathless, so easy to drive, so powerful. Just pure joy to ride. And yes, my next bike will again be KTM.

The only motorcycle that takes the phrase “The Next Generation Motorcycle” to a whole different level. I know there a lot of motorcycles out there that are more powerful and better in all cases, even reliable. But this, This motorcycle is something else. I so was about to make a down payment for a litre class motorcycle with a wish in my heart, that to see a RC version of the KTM super sport and here I stumbled upon this news that its coming. Like a small kid I was looking for an RC version in the launch of KTM bikes here in India that had the adventure sports and motorcross lined up, however none were such a delight than to know that RCR KTM 990 is making a come back. I request to launch it within an year in India and I'll be one of the happy customer.

Having a 2015 Superduke 1290R a 2022 Duke 390 and a 2023 Duke 890R it's clear that I'm a big fan but the slogan "Ready to Race" is not accurate , I use my Duke 890R to race but I had to spend a lot of money to make it "Ready to Race" : Tech pack for Track mode and quick shifter , powerparts footpegs ,tripple clamp , air filter , akrapovic race line and lot's of carbon parts to make it really "Ready to Race" .

Ready to race was the slogan of Husaberg, before it was acquired by KTM. In the case of Husaberg, they meant it. KTM did not like the slogan but many years later they adopted it.

Hopefully the track version is truly "ready to race". They have every opportunity to make it a turnkey track weapon. The only problem I can see is that if the track model is not homologated, we'll be forced to buy the road version and buy all the kit pieces in order to be eligible for most classes of racing. That would kind of defeat the purpose except for the dedicated track day riders.

the way Stefano Branca speaks should be the way of how top management speaks, a division specialised in product, market and business strategic development. If you wanna build a KTM, build a proper KTM. Kudos for finding the right spot between track and street. Perhaps in another 3 ~ 5 years ahead, we can see 490/590 in the market

Please could you consider the following: 1. The KTM logo in White to stand out on the orange. 2. Frame work spayed orange like the RC390. 3. The logo RC390 to be larger its too small. 4. Bring out a Single swing arm as an option. 5. Concealed exhaust would look sick and reduce weight and bulk.

Apreciate that you guys finaly brought a big Sportsbike back on the streets. But don‘t like the design of the tail unit and that the frame is closed. Kramer/KTM RC8c looks absolutely perfect! Can‘t understand why you had to change so much. That’s what we really wanted. Front and cockpit is nice though.
